January 20, 20215 yr really thought SZA would be top 10 as it's #5 on Spotify and #10 on Apple, guess it's low on Amazon a year ago being top 5 on Spotify would have guaranteed you a top 10 place for certain but I guess Amazon has stolen some of Spotify's users I think it's more just that the gap between top 5 and lower positions on Spotify is much smaller at the moment than it normally has been in the past so it's easier for other platforms to have more influence. This day last year there was an 80k gap between #5 and #11, today it's only 29k.

At least Michael Bublé has removed any risk of a new record drop from #1 happening any time soon :basil: (his record being unbeatable unless the OCC cared to reveal a bigger drop to a theoretical album chart expanded beyond #200). Their last album did drop out of the top 100 entirely from #6 but tbf that was in Q4, and this album already has a higher first week sales total so I don't see it exiting the top 100 entirely. Out of the top 40 is probably likely though, their second-from-last album was a January release and went 3-45. Massive drops from #1 are so commonplace now that they're hardly worth noting though tbh. I hope they can get #1 regardless. x

I just looked back to when BANNERS - Someone to You re-entered the midweeks with each of its manual resets though and it simply says "SCR" instead of "RESET" so I'm going to assume automatic and it was an error to have not reset it already this week but I can't be 100% on that.
