'Hello' was such a moment. I'm actually surprised it doesn't get played that often these days.

Both of those were good but I couldn't find room for them in my points, quite pleased to see them as two of the first out of the top 20.

Really like both Paradise and Hello even though they weren't in my 30 (feels like I've said that about so many songs now!), I was happy to see the two finally give both artists a second number one single!

I like only one UK # 1 single from this decade. :)

Ah so Prayer in C was coi’s only big score left then! I love that too, and it’s done brilliantly so can’t complain.

 

New Rules I find musically pretty beige by Dua’s standards, but I appreciate its cultural significance for being her first monster hit.

I was amazed to see Prayer In C make it as high as the top 20, 18th is a fantastic result for it and such a great track, it was definitely my song of the summer in 2014! :heart:

Mostly good songs since my last post but also mostly ones I don't have a lot to say about (even the ones I voted for)!

 

'Spectrum (Say My Name)' will always have a special place in my memories for being a pleasant surprise #1 that really seemed to come out of nowhere. And similar for 'Paradise' for its slow and gruelling climb to #1, seeing it finally get to the top was quite a moment, of course it's now hard to see them ever getting another #1 so it was great that they were able to pick up a second one while they still could!

Yeah 'Prayer In C' is definitely the most surprising entry in the top 20. 'Royals' and 'Feel The Love' around where I expected them to be but I was fully expecting 'New Rules' to be top 5!

New Rules is still fantastic. Though I wonder how long until Dua Lipa can be added to this thread
