March 4, 20215 yr I never really got into Good Times but I like the other two. All good retro memories!
March 4, 20215 yr I don't think I've lost anything from my points as yet so it's going well so far... ^_^
March 5, 20215 yr Author NO 154- 32 POINTS What About Us? The Saturdays Featuring Sean Paul (Voters:Among Haus- 11 points, JosephStyles- 21 points) No 1 for 1 week in March 2013- How fickle we are, once Buzzjack was awash with stans for the Saturdays but those days appear over…Sean Paul at least has one entry left.
March 5, 20215 yr Author NO 152- 33 POINTS Hold My Hand Jess Glynne (Voters: Sid- 29 points, donnahjaneymack- 4 points) No 1 for 3 weeks in April 2015- Rather surprisingly this is the next Glynne to exit the rate- maybe reminding us of booking holidays in a lockdown hasn’t helped it? Promise This Cheryl Cole (Voters: Ultra’s Version- 13 points, Leonardo- 20 points) No 1 for 1 week in November 2010- Back when she was the “nation’s sweetheart” and got promo every week on the “X Factor”- this is Buzzjack’s second favourite Cheryl chart topper of the 2010s.
March 5, 20215 yr Promise This & Fight Song <3 <3 Losing 2 more of my votes that were high up  Promise This is SO good and underrated, such a bop. And Fight Song is stunning and one of my fave UK #1's of the decade, I was so shook when it ended up being a 1 hit here <3 How We Do deserved better too! (I just realised how long its been since I commented oops). Replay/Crazy Stupid Love/Read All About It/Burn are all really good too, RAAI in particular has held up well but none of those 4 made my votes! What About Us is a bop but wasn't close to my votes. Good Times has aged terribly (and ew Wiley) & I used to love Hold My Hand but Jet2 has made me permanently hate that song to the point it hurts whenever I hear it again  The rest I never really cared much for
March 5, 20215 yr 'Hold My Hand' was very close to making my votes, possibly my favourite song to drop out so far! I do like 'What About Us' too, and I guess 'Promise This' is better than the other Cheryl songs that dropped out so far in that it's only mediocre rather than terrible (I like 'Call My Name' though so it's not all hatred for her )
March 5, 20215 yr What About Us and Hold My Hand were OK, got very bored of the latter due to overplay (and indeed the adverts!), was never a fan of Promise This though. Call My Name (and FFTL to an extent from the previous decade) aside I preferred her songs that missed the top spot!
March 5, 20215 yr Apologies if I’m repeating something others have said (I just don’t want to trawl through pages) but is this the first time that a Top 10 has remained unchanged for 3 weeks or more? I know that the positions have changed, but the songs inside the Top 10 have not.

March 5, 20215 yr Stuck on the tarmac at Manchester Airport for 45 minutes with that Jess Glynne song playing on loop. Safe to say I never want to hear it again. Promise This definitely deserves to be higher than those awful #1's she churned out in 2014.
March 5, 20215 yr Author I can also reveal that only 4 voters will reach the top 150 with all 30 of their tracks still in the rate........
March 5, 20215 yr I can also reveal that only 4 voters will reach the top 150 with all 30 of their tracks still in the rate........ I'm not sure if I've lost any but I think most of mine are still to come, which I'm really happy about.

March 6, 20215 yr Author NO 148- 34 POINTS Senorita Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello (Voters: JosephStyles- 16 points, Leonardo- 8 points, donnahjaneymack- 10 points) No 1 for 6 weeks in July/August 2019- Both have one entry left but this is the longest running chart topper to exit the rate so far! Hot Right Now DJ Fresh Featuring Rita Ora (Voters: Leonardo- 19 points, n4yr- 2 points, vibe- 13 points) No 1 for 1 week in February 2012- both have just one track left to come Impossible James Arthur (Voters: Stonedragon- 24 points, Leonardo- 6 points, Jason- 4 points) No 1 for 3 weeks in December 2012/ January 2013- Buzzjack’s favourite X Factor winning No 1 of the 2010s- that’s an achievement of some sort I suppose! Stay Awake Example (Voters: Bre- 8 points, coi- 24 points, Jason- 2 points) No 1 for 1 week in September 2011- Bre’s first loss and a song that I had forgotten about altogether!
March 6, 20215 yr Senorita is forever going to be the anthem of bearding isn’t it? Edited March 6, 20215 yr by chartjack2
March 6, 20215 yr Not a bad collection there. Stay Awake is a great tune and came closest to my votes, though Example’s singing was less than exemplary.
March 6, 20215 yr Stay Awake becomes the first big loss from my votes then and I'm not surprised by that, I knew it had a couple of fans on here but wasn't expecting it to get much further, and it feels quite forgotten now too but such a tune, an example of Example at his best! James Arthur smashing it with what is surely the best X Factor winner's single (not that there's strong competition), and Hot Right Now has done well too. Amazed at Señorita being out already, very pleased about that as it's definitely one of my least favourite #1s of the decade.
