London rapper Fredo is on track to bag the highest new entry and a flurry of placings on this week’s Official Chart, following the release of his new fourth album Money Can’t Buy Happiness.

The singer and songwriter from Queen’s Park starts out just behind reigning chart queen Olivia Rodrigo at Number 2 on today’s Official Chart First Look, with brand new entry Money Talks ft. Dave. The pair topped the Official Singles Chart together back in 2018 on Funky Friday.

Further down follows a new Fredo collaboration with late rapper Pop Smoke and Young Adz – Burner On Deck (11), and a further midweek entry at 14 - Ready ft. Summer Walker.

Meanwhile, US singer Olivia Rodrigo looks to be heading for a fourth week at Number 1 with Drivers License.

Newcomer and TikTok viral star Nathan Evans is currently holding firm at Number 3 after securing the highest-charting debut single for a Scottish artist in nearly a decade on Friday with sea shanty remix Wellerman with British producer/DJs 220 Kid and Billen Ted.

Completing the First Look Top 5 is rising Australian rapper The Kid Laroi’s Without You (4) and Don’t Play (5) by Annie-Marie, KSI and Digital Farm Animals.

Elsewhere Irish DJ and producer Shane Codd climbs two places back into the midweek Top 10 (9) with Get Out Of My Head.

The highest climber of the week after 48 hours is Friday by Riton x Nightcrawlers ft. Mufasa and Hypeman, up 14 places to land just outside the Top 20 midweek at Number 23.

Celeste seems to have the #1 album in the bag, Arlo will easily be top 2 by tomorrow. Fredo could push her back down though later in the week.

And on a separate note, album title listing as The Voice and Single title as Dancing On Ice

Crikey that's much higher than I expected for Celeste! Well done to her :D

I'm not a massive fan of Goat Girl, but good to see another of the new wave of post-punk revival bands in the top 10

Has she definitely got No1 in the bag given Fredo's streaming advantage that will tell later in the week?

knew Celeste would be an easy #1 as discussed in the iTunes Album thread, no surprise there.

Arlo Parks will beat Steve Wilson but Fredo will beat her, so will be #3 come Friday anyway.

Has she definitely got No1 in the bag given Fredo's streaming advantage that will tell later in the week?

She's sold over 10k.more than him, he's not going to make that up with streams and he doesn't have a physical as far as I'm aware.

Has she definitely got No1 in the bag given Fredo's streaming advantage that will tell later in the week?

Yes, Fredo will catch Arlo Parks but not Celeste.

Great sales for Celsete. it didn't feel like she's really broken through but clearly her sales suggest otherwise.
Bloody hell that "Dancing On Ice" song has a homophobic slur & line in the first verse, hope that misses the top 40

Coming to be the second top 40 hit in the past year to feature a homophobic lyric :nocheer: (after Pop Smoke - Dior)

(thankfully I suspect this one will miss out)
