February 1, 20215 yr 'Apricots' still fighting for that top 40 place! I'm surprised it has managed to be in the midweek top 40 again, alas it is fairly significantly down week-on-week in sales and is falling quickly on AM & Spotify, so it seems very unlikely it'll hold on by Friday. Lol at Dance Monkey going back in too, that's had a big sales boost so I take it it's been used in Masked Singer or something?

February 1, 20215 yr Not the tease of Bicep being in the midweek top 40 again - obviously they will drop out again but good to see them having some longevity beyond the album release anyway (and the album not suffering as terrible a second week drop as the new entries from the previous week). Strong sales for Celeste then, good to see! Should think Fredo will still pretty easily get to #2 by the end of the week but he's not going to make up that much of a gap. Also cool to see Steven Wilson so high, I didn't consider him as a contender!
February 1, 20215 yr Steve Wilson has quite the fanbase, his last album opened at #3 selling 10,881 copies, so looks like he'll do similarly.
February 1, 20215 yr I had forgotten about that charting so high! That was his first top 10 album - so far each of his solo albums has charted higher than the previous one, looks like this will end that streak (will probably end up at #4, or matching #3 at best) but it could possibly beat the opening sales of his last album still.

February 1, 20215 yr Yep, it’s seen a resurgence in popularity on Tik Tok. There’s actually a great duet version on his recently released album with FLETCHER, makes me appreciate the song a lot more (I’m a big fan of the contest but it was a mediocre winner).

February 2, 20215 yr So The Killers aren't even in the midweek Top 100 following the release of the deluxe version of 'Imploding The Mirage'? :huh: What's going on with Weezer too, I'm shocked that's nowhere to be seen - they've never missed the Top 100 before with any of their albums. I'm guessing there's a good reason for that not showing?
