Posted February 4, 20214 yr Well, this seemingly has been getting TikTok traction and has now broken the Apple Music top 100. It's... about twice as basic as that Shane Codd track. Rather undercooked even by commercial house standards sadly, nothing special, but probably a future hit the way it's been climbing. aMFCw1SR9ug
February 4, 20214 yr This has had a second release recently, having previously been released in 2020. The guy is a relatively unknown Liverpudlian producer, but the momentum this has gained on TikTok has meant Island have signed it to give it another push. It's harmless enough, but not exactly groundbreaking. With both versions available, is there actually any difference between them production wise? EDIT: Yes there is and I prefer the newer one, it sounds much more polished.
February 4, 20214 yr This is the version from Island / Universal release, enhanced production and piano added -jbAPPgk8GQ Edited February 13, 20214 yr by JOTA
February 4, 20214 yr Author oh that makes more sense that it'd had a bit of a revamp, I only noticed that original version that came up as the first result. still nothing special but got a little bit more life to it.
February 5, 20214 yr Yes that updated version is much better, it sounds very 2015 anyway. yes, It sounds like an Blonde's song (I Loved You, All Cried Out...)!
February 5, 20214 yr yes, It sounds like an Blonde's song (I Loved You, All Cried Out...)! The singer in it sounds like Melissa Steel I think too.
February 5, 20214 yr I really do like this (well, that new and updated version at any rate), really takes me back to all the good times I was having in 2015!
February 13, 20214 yr The original version has now been deleted from all platforms. Not surprised as I'm sure the label would rather focus on the updated mix rather than having to keep an eye on two versions of the same song. Here's hoping for Top 40 next week, there's no way it's not going to be a smash given its trajectory in the past two weeks alone!
