April 1, 20214 yr Daily Drop on Insta has revealed the bottom 4 in tonight’s rankings 8th - Vithum 7th - Pippa 6th - Femi 5th - Andy Which means influencers will be two of Manrika, Syed, Dot or Felix Edited April 1, 20214 yr by ElectroBoy
April 1, 20214 yr Apparently, James asked to visit Dot 3 times but the producers forced him to visit Manrika.
April 1, 20214 yr tbf it was better TV True, I could see the producers insisting on it. On the other hand, James may just be saying that because he realises how awful he came across. He seems like that kind of person.
April 1, 20214 yr I don't understand the love that Manrika is getting. The whole point of this is to either successfully catfish, or to be yourself if you want to. An 'NHS Nurse' trying to raise funds for the NHS is an option that's included in that. Being disgusting behind someone's back (despite insisting that you're a nice person), acting nice to their face, and trying to turn people against someone like some sort of witch hunt, is horrible. Whether you're playing the game or not, personally attacking someone who may (or may not) be real, isn't cool.
April 1, 20214 yr The thing with James is that he was so horrifically unlikeable to me and was purely by the book in terms of game playing rather than forming friendships, from the worming his way into friendship groups and making manual conversations literally named “relationship building chat”, it was all so forced and I’m glad it got seen through now rather than never like James/Sammie from last year. Then again I stan Manrika and think that she makes such great TV and had such a warm side to her where she actually cares about the other players too unlike what I got from him. Also glad to see Scott/Dorothy and Natalya/Felix cementing their places too, those three are definitely my favourites now along with Hashu/Syed fourth.
April 1, 20214 yr The aim of the game is to be the most popular. Manrika is doing well there as she has established relationships with all the contestants. It doesn’t really matter if they’re real or not. She’s not deceiving herself, she knows what she’s doing and I can admire that. As for the witch hunt comments and getting people to turn on others, I haven’t seen her doing any of that. In fact, she was relieved yesterday that Andy also had concerns-concerns that had not come from Manrika. The NHS things bugs me more than anything. Andy was still not sure about getting rid of her yesterday based on the fact ‘she’ was going to give money to the NHS. It was swaying people’s decisions and is a lazy way to gain approval. Personally, I think Manrika has received way too much blame for a lot of what has happened. She didn’t get rid of Tally, and she only helped get rid of Gemma. Her ranking alone wouldn’t have put them at the bottom which is where they were. It’s been edited cleverly as Manrika is more vocal on her decisions than others.
April 1, 20214 yr Just to clarify, I don't think there's anything wrong with Manrika playing the game... It just feels to me that she does it in such a nasty way (I thought the same about Freddie, prior to this season) - so much so that it outweighs any heartfelt moments. When it comes to the witch hunt thing, she's mentioned numerous times about targeting Gemma specifically - and trying to get people to side with her point of view, even though 'she' didn't ever really do anything to her. Fair enough, he's a bit dull/calculated, but he never called people a bitch/made gestures as if he was being repulsed etc. She may be playing the game well, but I dislike her (or her edit, specifically) behind the scenes.
April 1, 20214 yr I just see that as Gemma’s poor game play. He didn’t give her any personality or try to make any genuine relationships, which is what Manrika has tried to do with every other play. He was having Gemma sneak into other people’s relationships and cling on in a fake way. He forced the ‘geezer gals’ thing because Manrika and Tally already had that relationship. Tried to style himself as a catfish Hunter because Andy did. Manrika could see through all that and it clearly irritated her. In fact she has only behaved that way with Gemma because she didn’t like her and could see she was fake. She hasn’t been ‘nasty’ with regards to any other players and I’m not about to take a high horse and say I’d be above behaving like Manrika if anyone really irritated me like that.
April 1, 20214 yr I totally understand the dislike of Manrika. There seems to be some rule that if you make great TV then that compensates for being a bit nasty. If I was James I would have refused to see anyone if I wasn't allowed to see Dot.

I don’t really see how she’s been that nasty apart from a few catty comments about a player who didn’t even end up being real . She said nothing personal about Gemma at all . She is also getting blamed for getting Tally blocked when it wouldn’t have been just her one vote that would have put her in the bottom 2 . Edited April 1, 20214 yr by troylovesmusic
April 1, 20214 yr I don’t think she’s been nasty at all- I think she’s playing the game well but that doesn’t mean she’s nasty- they all went in knowing what the game was!
April 1, 20214 yr I absolutely love Pippa. Interesting how almost all of them are going tactical now.
April 1, 20214 yr I won’t miss Vithun too much, he went too under the radar and even when realising this, he still only went to his go to players rather than make any new friends. I think he was the obvious choice really, I’m not sure what the others were expecting. It’d have been a bit rubbish to get rid of Femi or Pippa so soon and it’s a bit early to try and oust Andy. I am glad Andy dropped out of the influencer zone though as he is getting a bit irritating with it all.
April 1, 20214 yr I think that decision made sense considering who was influencers. I did like Vithun but I feel like he got very quiet after a strong start at the beginning. I honestly kept forgetting he was there a lot of the time .
April 1, 20214 yr I’m thinking Dot will win - based on how she’s doing and how mad it goes in the final ratings. I can’t see Manrika winning now - even Felix is questioning her play! I do love gameplay and it is a game, but Manrika is playing IT and isn’t even being subtle now. Still loving Hashu and Nataliya Not really fussed about either newbie Edited April 1, 20214 yr by ElectroBoy
April 1, 20214 yr At the moment I'm thinking Vithum will win based on the fact he seems to be so under the radar. This aged well
April 1, 20214 yr Jesus......That Manrika/Pippa exchange was pure vomit inducing. I hope it was edited down from a more substantial conversation...
