April 1, 20214 yr I think Syed (Hashu) stands a good chance of winning he’s kind of mid of the rankings and sometimes near the top but he seems to get on with the majority without being seen as one of the main threats to win like Andy and Manrika . Dot winning would be just as crap/anticlimactic as Paddy winning season 2  Edited April 1, 20214 yr by troylovesmusic
April 1, 20214 yr Manrika is just so open and unapologetic to The Circle about her game play. It can be refreshing to some but unpalatable to others.
April 1, 20214 yr I hope Hashu/Syed wins. He's the only person that I would cheer on to win the prize, he's been hilarious throughout the series and I've watched some of the videos he made for YouTube and he is funny in those as well.
April 2, 20214 yr Syed is the only original I think can win. Andy and Manrika were too popular too early and won’t fair well in the final if they even make it. This is actually the first time fewer than four originals have made the final. It’s quite refreshing that they haven’t immediately got rid of new players like they did in the past couple of series.
April 2, 20214 yr Manrika has no chance of winning now. She might even be in danger of getting blocked soon!
April 2, 20214 yr Manrika has no chance of winning now. She might even be in danger of getting blocked soon! I don’t think she or Andy will win anyway. Syed is the only original with a chance and I’m not even sure it’ll be him. Could easily be one of the newer players.
April 2, 20214 yr Manrika has no chance of winning now. She might even be in danger of getting blocked soon! She was never going to win but she will definitely make the final would be surprised if she didn’t .
April 2, 20214 yr I’m loving Manrika going full on villain mode  it’ll all end in tears for her but I still love it. I don’t see Andy being ‘taken down’ but I am tiring of him at the moment.
April 2, 20214 yr Manrika is ruthless and I absolutely LOVE it . I’ve said it before but she’s playing the game exactly how it should be played .
April 2, 20214 yr Yeah Manrika went full on ‘Sammy’ tonight in trying to get the win. Can’t see it happening though.
April 3, 20214 yr Manrika is playing the game exactly as it should be played. I’m not saying that she’s playing the perfect game but what she’s doing is the whole nature of the game. I think people don’t recognise that this is an actual game and not just another reality show. Not everyone can be an Andy as otherwise there’s no point in the whole concept of the show. The central part of the show is being fake, catfish or not, and getting as many players on your side! Aside from the clone twist, she’s made the series for me alongside Syed.
April 3, 20214 yr I'm having a disagreement with a loon on Twitter who believes Manrika's behaviour is worse than BB7's Grace - the very Grace who referred to people as "he-she's" and "wigga's"
April 3, 20214 yr Me and my friends were chatting about it all today at length about Manrika manipulating/ playing people and how is basically a game in general. However is actually no different to Hashu manipulating people into thinking he’s a kinda Uncle character or Natalya playing as Felix. I guess it just feels more OMG as she has basically thrown each person she is close to under the bus to progress. Also another point is that they don’t actually know each other at all, they’ve all built up a fake relationship via the Circle. But she, or no one else owes each other anything. It’s how far people play it to get the monies. But yeah it is a game and is she playing it well... too well :D although I guess doesn’t necessarily make her likeable. But I do agree that she is great TV. Will be interesting to see how the next blocking occurs as it can’t just be a case of two people become influencers.
April 4, 20214 yr The Manrika issue is pretty interesting because of just how much people are going after her on social media, to the point that she’s now off it. She’s being called a bully and I’m not really sure where the bullying comes into it here? She’s admitted she was guilty of bullying when she was younger but I can’t see how she can be seen as bullying in the Circle, she’s playing it as it was meant to be played. Syed is being just as sly in his gameplay as she is but doesn’t get the hate but I guess it’s down to how they come across. Hashu is always quite comical whereas Manrika is very shouty in her game plan and she doesn’t mince her words. She’s also only reacted to how other players have made her feel, whether over the top or not. She was irritated by Gemma, she only rated Tally low after a difficult conversation, only blocked Vithun because he’d messed with her head and is now hurt by Andy’s judgement of her. She’s also felt terrible at times with things that have happened, like Tally and Vithun being blocked. And it’s also interesting how she gets a lot of grief for the blockings compared to Andy who has been involved in most of the blockings. We don’t see the ends of the influencer conversations but I’d hazard a guess that Andy pushed for Billy’s blocking, though he also had information that could have saved him. He was also the sole person to block Tally even though Dorothy was an obvious catfish and he’d built his game trying to catch the catfish. He also held information back from Manrika about Gemma and then revealed it to everyone after the blocking which makes Manrika look like she was fully behind the blocking. He preaches honesty and integrity but he’s as much a game player as anyone which is fine but he doesn’t get the grief Manrika gets. She’s more immature and runs her mouth off which I think is why there’s such hatred for her. But I do think some are watching the Circle for the wrong things. I don’t want to watch a show where everyone is licking arse constantly to be liked.
April 4, 20214 yr I'm glad that "Gemma" eventually went but should've been a lot sooner, by far my least favourite across all the UK series + US season. I don't understand the hate for Manrika, I feel sorry for her more than anything...she's played the game, saw through Gemma...why has she been getting hate for bitching behind the back of someone who was catfishing as a nurse, I really don't get it  And when she blocked Vithun, yes they might have been part of 'circle siblings' but Vithun literally came last in the ratings so blocking him was as far from a game move as you could get surely? The Manrika/Felix conversations have made for good TV but have verged on uncomfortable at times for me, I'm scared to watch that meet-up happening at the final dinner. I really hope Manrika somehow manages to win because at least the money should make up for her man not being real.
April 4, 20214 yr Andy won’t be going tonight then. Though I’m actually glad Manrika isn’t an influencer so people can’t blame whatever happens on her. Edited April 4, 20214 yr by T Boy
