Great article.

Love this: ‘ That’s why her most recent album, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is so monumental. Re-recording and re-releasing six of her early albums is, yes, a statement that artists should own the rights to their work. But something else is happening, too: In re-introducing those albums, Swift is divorcing her music from the (sexist) media narrative that followed her during her adolescence, inviting listeners and critics to engage with the same songs today without as much gender bias. Listeners who didn’t believe she was a feminist before (for whatever, sexist reason) can’t deny the feminist undertones of becoming the industry spokesperson for artists’ rights.’

Surprisingly impressed by the vault tracks on this - I actually really like 'Don't You' in particular (it sounds like a more recent song from her, surprised that this dates back so far!), I didn't dislike any of them although 'That's When'/'We Were Happy' are a little forgettable.

I still haven’t listened to this yet, I will when I sign up to Apple Music or Spotify for a few months though,

I do like Mr Perfectly Fine.

The new version of 'Love Story' really is something special isn't it?

Those extra strings really make a massive difference. Absolutely wonderful.

Clever! I see the international CDs are sold out again. Last time I ordered signed CDs, I never received them, so I am sadly going to pass this time.

Yesssss mine is here now too! I only need her debut and 'Speak Now' to have each studio album in some form on vinyl - getting there.
