I'm going the whole way through, up to Dear John so far!

 

Mine & Sparks Fly sounded so different to me on first listen because I'm so used to the original versions :lol: It was the backing vocals on the chorus for Mine and Sparks Fly sounds a lot slower than the original? Her vocals sound so good on both though :wub:

 

'Dear John' has had the biggest glow up for me so far, she sounds GORGEOUS on it!

I was worried for Sparks Fly cos it’s the original I’ve seen fans be the least happy with the new version & saying it doesn’t hit as hard, but for me it sounds near identical to the original so I’m glad about that! What a classic <3

Just started taking my first listen through. Going form start to finish. Been waiting for this moment. So far I'm loving how I can hear the instruments so much more clearly than I feel I could before and a more mature voice is adding another level to these for me. It is strange to not have a young Taylor teenage angst voice if that makes sense. My favourites so far are sparks Fly and speak now but that's not surprising as that's two of my favs from the original.

I started this, but I had to restart coz my player was on shuffle :drama: (So I've heard 'Better Than Revenge' - and honestly I didn't even notice the change. I did notice the production level up a little bit though! *.*)

 

Mine, Sparks Fly & Back To December were awesome and I have a feeling this is already her best re-recording... her more mature vocals really suit these songs!
