I was delirious and tired I completely forgot lmao. Saved them for my walk to work tho! Finally got a break so ofc listening, the Kendrick remix was such a nice surprise cos I didn’t see it till my break! Restaurant is empty tho so when I go back on shift I’ll be playing lmao. So happy w this re-record, it’s soooo good. Hoping to come home to my cds too

Great waking up to see the Bad Blood remix getting released.

Of course, my opinions are different. :lol: I prefer the vault tracks in a different order, I like New Romantics more on here, etc...

One of my cd's arrived today. Not the other one yet.

 

I'm obsessed with Say Don't Go. She sounds so good and listened to it a lot today and with work, reading Britney's book and S Club concert tonight, I haven't listened to much more of the album today. Hoping to really get into it tomorrow because on first couple of listens, I'm not too keen on the other vault tracks. Hoping to like them more as I listen. On first listens, I think is it over now is my second fav.

 

 

The vault tracks are all growing on me. I'm really loving 'Say Don't Go', 'Suburban Legends' & 'Is It Over Now?' The former and the latter especially. :wub:

 

I'm so happy at this re-recording overall. I feel like there was a lot of pressure for her to get this one right and I do think they've nailed it. The over hate for 'Style' and 'New Romantics' is humorous. So OTT. Particularly for 'Style'.

 

EDIT: I received the Green, Pink, Yellow CD's and Cassette today. The blue CD, Tangerine and Pink vinyl are on their way tomorrow.

We are not getting a video this time then 😭

Annoyingly Apple Music is charging the Deluxe version separately so she has pretty much the entire album charting twice on US Apple Music but it’s pushing the higher up versions down a little

I don't mind Style. I think it sounds just fine. It's hard to enjoy Style or Blank Space anymore because when they were released, I played them too much and pushed them over the edge of repetitive. BS and SIO sound great.

 

Appreciating I know places and clean more this time round. Something about Clean is really clicking with me this time.

What I'm loving most about all the re recordings is the opportunity to listen to and discover a new appreciation for the songs that weren't the singles / the most popular. I've always known her albums have depth but this is just cementing and expanding that belief.
