Gwen Stefani is one of those artists that have stayed with me throughout my life. I remember my mam listening to No Doubt in the car when I was very young and her telling me that Gwen Stefani in the Don’t Speak video was one of the most gorgeous women she’d ever seen. I remember hearing Sweet Escape and Hollaback Girl and being obsessed with the music videos. And her 2016 divorce album, “This is what the truth feels like”, is probably one of my favourite pop albums of all time. I love Gwen Stefani because her pop music is better than anyone else’s pop music. And while yes she’s still played at parties and in gay clubs, she has so much more to offer and I hope I can showcase a little of why I love her so much and how amazing her music is!
