oops forgot to listen to The Harold Song before and omg I wonder if that could be the one? :drama: It's like perfect nostalgic 2012 stomping pop beats but also quite melancholic and wistful too? Whatever we send I think we've got a good chance of doing well again this round as Kesha has such a strong set of album tracks.

It's been a while since I heard 'Animal', 'Cannibal' or 'Warrior', but I like all 3 albums!

But I just put your choices in my listening queue and this is how I'd rank them (based on likely possibility of being voted)

Hungover > My ABSOLUTE favourite Kesha song. L O V E. Pretty sure it's guaranteed top 3 in my votes, so VERY safe for votes I'd imagine and it sounds just as sublime now as it did 11 years ago (!) for me  <

Thinking Of You > You didn't add this, but I'm putting this here... LOOOOOOVE would be guaranteed points! <

Kiss N Tell > You haven't put this in either coz it's not mid/downtempo, but I also LOOOOOVE this and relistened to it haha! Would more than likely be guaranteed votes. <

Animal > High chance of being voted! <

Love Into The Light > I love this! Would be in with a high chance of votes from me. There's something quite 'Out Of the Woods'/'Getaway Car' by Taylor to this, anyone else hear those? <

Dancing With Tears In My Eyes > Would depend on what else is sent, but a definite chance of votes... <

Last Goodbye > I feel like this is a fan favourite one (kinda one of those tracks that the fans ADORE but crossover appeal... idk). In terms of my votes, I think it depends on what is sent, but I think it *should* make it... <

The Harold Song > She has better. But I wouldn't rule it out being in my votes! <

Blind > Never been a fave of mine, I feel like there is better... My vote just depends on what else is sent, but I don't dislike or hate it! <

---

Omg. I think this will be the round Kesha gets votes from me! :cheeseblock:

thank you for all your opinions! Particularly Jonjo for how thorough you were, I enjoyed reading! P.s. I think it's the bridge elevating Love Into The Light and those comparisons that does it! The passion comes out there!

I'm leaning towards Hungover or Animal currently, Love into the Light possibly too; it's not a classic for me but it's sounding good right now and perhaps I've overlooked it before?

Any more thoughts? I'm still very much undecided!

Love Into The Light is my favourite, a true moment and unlike everything the casual listeners know from her/not sure how safe it would be here though...

Animal is probably the safest choice/most wide-appealing and it shows off a different, more vulnerable side whilst still maintaining the pace and has its fans already

Hungover is great but my least favourite here oop

Out of you 2 choices, it seems Animal is def the more popular choice. But boo everyone that doesn't love 'Hungover'. -_-

Round 3: Animal

Round 3 and our first album track to appear is Animal. The closer of Kesha's first album... Animal. This song shows a more meaningful side of Kesha whilst still being a pop banger once we hit the chorus. I love the contrast between verses and the chorus and its in contention to be one of my favourite album tracks across all albums! Hoping a few of you can make a discovery out of it as it shows another side to Kesha that you might not be aware of from her singles.

I completely forgot this got a cheap green screen music video too so it must be special to Kesha to get a music video too as this isn't a common occurrence for her!

omg sell the garment!!!

the right choice!

I don't think I've ever heard this before but wow it's fantastic! :o How was it not a single?!

 Check out her albums, her album tracks are largely fantastic and unlike the vibes we get from her singles (apart from the odd trashy number thrown in of course which we would expect from ha)!

This, naturally, topped my votes for the 3rd round in a row :kink:

Thanks I shall! 'Animal' still feels like a Kesha song but definitely has a different vibe to the singles (which I adore).
A nice discovery! The first time I’ve managed to vote for Kesha, definitely a more slicker style than what she’s famous for amd one I appreciate a lot more.

Round 3 Results:

Pos / Points / Song (ties unbroken)

01 31 Miley Cyrus - Angels Like You

02 27 Katy B feat. Jessie Ware - Aaliyah

02 27 Kesha - Animal

04 25 Florence + the Machine - How Big How Blue How Beautiful

05 24 Everything Everything - A Fever Dream

06 21 Jessie Ware - Midnight Caller

06 21 Donna Summer - Tokyo

08 20 Ava Max - Tattoo

09 19 The Beatles - In My Life

10 18 Gwen Stefani - Rare

11 15 Ciara - Tell Me What Your Name Is

12 12 Demi Lovato - Lionheart

13 11 Sigala, HRVY & Nina Nesbitt - Somebody

14 09 Gabrielle - Closure

Thanks to everyone who came and voted for Kesha! The way things were looking at the beginning looked to be a significant drop off from the previous rounds but Animal climbed in the end and got Kesha a new peak as well as carrying on the medal positions so far ^_^ Perfect choice in the end as I don't think anything else would've beaten 'Angels Like You'

Round 4: Free choice

> You can choose any song, no restrictions! <

Songs will need to be confirmed by 5pm on 5th March 2021 with round 4 going live for voting afterwards! Failure to do so, results your artists chosen choices being put in a playlist and shuffled. Get discussing potential songs in the AF Hub threads.

Back to another free choice for round 4. My initial thoughts are to go for Take It Off or Your Love Is My Drug, as they both seemed popular suggestions in the first round. Also thinking of Die Young and Raising Hell, particularly as neither of these albums have had a choice just yet. Warrior could have something go into the uptempo album track round but I think High Road only has Raising Hell that could be feasibly entered if we're looking to be competitive. We also have one more free choice round other than this.

Let me know your thoughts! And any other suggestions than the four I've mentioned above.

I’m happy with any of them but my number 1 would be Your Love is My Drug
I love all of them!! Raising Hell could be a cute discovery for some but if you want to play it safe I'd say go with Take It Off!

TIO has never been a fave for me  (but it really is popular!)

YLIMD is a cute bop. I like DY a lot & I can't remember whether I liked 'Raising Hell' or not, I think I did. But one of TIO or YLIMD would probably be most likely to secure votes.

I am not totally here for Die Young and while I like Raising Hell, I can't really see it appealing to the masses :( If we're going High Road album, the highlight is Chasing Thunder for me but it won't really make sense being sent here when there are so many other obvious hits!

Out of Take It Off and YLIMD, I prefer the latter but both are fun~
