I thought, why not make a thread, and after just hearing an excellent remix of Diplo’s single Turn Back Time, and a Radio 1 playlist addition today, I just had to make a thread to talk about his music!

 

The original, Summer 91, a real 90’s sounding single, was a single released in 2020 (and was in my personal chart at the time!)

 

 

Then this revision came along recently and was added to Radio 1 C-List today;

 

 

In recent months too Noizu has remixed Too Many Nights for 220 KID;

 

 

And as aforementioned, today saw the release of a remix of Diplo & Sonny Fodero’s single Turn Back Time;

 

 

Definitely a name to watch out for in 2021!

Summer 91 now in the midweek chart at... #91! Didn't see this coming but I quite like it, need to give it a few more listens.

Returning the favour of remixing her previous single, 220 KID has given a remix to Summer 91;

I found this a bit boring and a bit of a weak imitation of early 90s dance at first, but now I quite like it.

On the basis of this proof I would not necessarily agree (though I have no idea why this was never released :( );

 

You just know now that should've been his debut Noizu release
