September 8, 20213 yr new song not really clicking, not crazy about the Toyota/Land Rover metaphors but love the album cover with the dogs
September 8, 20213 yr Has anyone preordered the album? It’s another release that feels overly expensive to me, about £35 for what appears to be a single vinyl
September 9, 20213 yr I just preordered the HMV alternate Cover with the Red Vinyl… just like with Chemtrails over the country Club the HMV alternate version is much prettier IMO
September 9, 20213 yr 'dealer' is the song she literally screams on... i hope she leaves it as that version on twitter stands, although I can't imagine it next to 'Arcadia' lol
September 9, 20213 yr It looks like the digital release is on 22nd October as well? (That is the pre-order date on iTunes anyway). I don't know what black magic she has pulled to be able to get another co-ordinated vinyl release only a few months after the release of her last album but she must have a decent shot at getting another #1 album from this still, her last album did have a higher opening week than Biffy Clyro's. It'll be the second week for Coldplay as well although that probably won't be too much of a threat unless this Coldplay album does better than their last.
September 9, 20213 yr ^ How many copies did Coldplay's latest album sell in its second week? Apart from Paradise, which was a re-issue / EP, Lana has never released an album this late in the year (Q4). I think she is taking a risk with this strategy, what with this being released only 7 months after Chemtrails.
September 9, 20213 yr 'Everyday Life' did 32.3k in its second week, and for what it's worth that was significantly further into Q4 than they're releasing this time (early December).
October 3, 20213 yr 'Arcadia' seemingly not attracting much attention even on here? I'm liking it a lot more than the other 3 singles she dropped earlier in the year. (Although a bit of a shame that the sudden bass heavy trap outro from the music video isn't on the actual song on streaming services).
October 3, 20213 yr Author Arcadia is stunning  Can't believe we're getting another Lana album in just under 3 weeks :cheeseblock: 'Arcadia' seemingly not attracting much attention even on here? I'm liking it a lot more than the other 3 singles she dropped earlier in the year. (Although a bit of a shame that the sudden bass heavy trap outro from the music video isn't on the actual song on streaming services). The outro will be available to stream when the album is released! (It's the interlude that's track 4!)
October 3, 20213 yr Arcadia doesn't do much for me wonder if there will be a proper single being picked up by R1 or R2, nothing been supported so far...
October 3, 20213 yr Apart from the trap breakdown, that song is back to being Honeymoon levels of boring:/ Let's hope for another NFR at some point, as this ain't it.
October 3, 20213 yr funnily the 3 songs she released earlier have grown on me immensely, especially Blue Bannisters also Chemtrails the album has grown on me a lot, been listening to it 24/7 and its almost on par with NFR now Edited October 7, 20213 yr by Bjork
October 6, 20213 yr funnily the 3 sons she released earlier have grown on me immensely, especially Blue Bannisters Same here, they all passed me by on the first few listens but I'm loving them now Text Book is such a gorgeous opener, and I can definitely hear the Honeymoon comparisons in that  I like Arcadia a lot too but I think it's my least favourite of the four so far
October 7, 20213 yr for me Honeymoon is her weakest album by miles and miles and miles to the point I don't really like any songs, zero, in my head Honeymoon doesn't exist and never happened :o
October 7, 20213 yr for me Honeymoon is her weakest album by miles and miles and miles to the point I don't really like any songs, zero, in my head Honeymoon doesn't exist and never happened :o 100% THIS
October 7, 20213 yr Generally I don't like her stuff without a bit of a trap or hip-hop edge to it as much. Clearly she likes the acousticy stuff but I like a bit of full cinematic and some dramatic vocal from her the most. I also think some of the stories she tells are more interesting than others.
October 7, 20213 yr Honeymoon definitely seems to be the least liked overall, but I really like it! The title track is one of her best ever for me  I think it’d be my third favourite album of hers after NFR and UV, maybe even edging towards second favourite.
