I really need to start paying more attention to the clues because I saw the spelling errors & capitals and somehow didn't think anything of them :kink: I guess more songs from debut will be going - also 'I Forgot That You Existed' to be out soon pls.

I still like ME, even though it should never have been the single. I completely agree with your plan Nina - Cruel Summer would've been the perfect lead!

next, there are a hell of a lot of SPELLING MISTAKES in the 2nd line! (and also in the 3rd line though that one was acc accidental ). And as we know kids, SPELLING IS FUN x

Honestly just thought that you were drunk again x :kink:

I love your clues. I actually knew what was coming up and didn't get all the clues

Also love Nina West's single order - although I don't hate ME! I still think it would have been better off as an album track - I think it would have had much appreciation that way.

A simpler hint for the next section:

Two albums are losing two songs each. what albums are they? another era is also losing its first song, which one is it :o

So... numbers 165 - 161 coming in the next couple of hours. Any guesses on this??

#165-#161:

165. I Forgot That You Existed [Avg. 6.47]
164. Delicate - Sawyer & Ryan Tedder remix [Avg. 6.52]
163. London Boy [Avg. 6.552]
162. Invisible [Avg. 6.555 (less 10s)]
161. Mary’s Song (Oh My My My) [Avg. 6.555 (more 10s)]

In this section, both Lover and Taylor Swift say goodbye to two of their album tracks, meaning that they have both lost four tracks each.

First out is Lover’s first track on the album - I Forgot that You Existed - at number 165. I actually think this song is great and love the sentiment behind it. Was it written about a specific ex? Maybe Calvin Harris? Or was it ‘another’ dig at Kanye West? I guess we’ll never know, although I’m sure some of you code busting detectives can make a guess. It received almost every score, ranging from a high of 9.5 from DionTheSats123 to a low of 1 from John-James.

Next out is Delicate, the Sawyer and Ryan Tedder remix at number 164. As remixes go, it’s not the worst, but doesn’t really add anything to the song. I think that most of us would agree that Taylor doesn’t often get remixes right and you’re probably better off sticking to the original. Apart from, imo, the Wildest Dreams R3hab remix, which I controversially think is better than the original - please don’t lynch me. The scoring for this remix doesn’t have the biggest range, with its highest score being an 8 from myself, Jay and DionTheSats123 whilst its lowest score is a 4 from Jade.

At 163 we have London Boy. I like this song a lot and feel a pang of excitement thinking about Taylor zooming past me on a scooter lol “I enjoy walking Camden Market in the afternoon… Took me back to Highgate…” I mean, the thought of walking past Taylor one afternoon almost sends me into hyperventilation… It did receive a number of scores between 8 and 9 (Jktoon, John-James, Joseph Styles, Klumzee, London, Ready For It) but suffered from a few low scores, including 3s from Ultra, BlackSquare and Jade, which brought its average right down.

162 and 161 are two songs from Taylor’s first album. I think these songs are cute enough but imo are definitely some of the weakest songs on the album and so deserving of leaving earlier than some of the others. Mary’s Song did receive a 10 though, from Jktoon and Invisible received a 9.5 from DionTheSats123.

Still happy with how it's all going so far! Glad IFTYE is out, it's lowkey one of my least favourite taylor songs :drama:

Yeah I think that might be the worst section in this entire rate. Only one song I gave above a 6 (and that was a 7.5, and I oop)

Invisible is fine and a nice enough album track. The best in that section but not essential or one that I really return too. Mary's Song is probs the worst on self-titled, low-key irritating. Talking of irritating, London Boy is high-key horrific & I'm glad enough of us gave it low scores to bring it down here. Such a meh song & the worst on Lover. I Forgot That You Existed is better but again, probs in my bottom 10 Taylor songs since the 1989 era. It's just... we could've had a stronger opener & it just feels like an unnecessary move-on from the rep era. The Delicate remix is fine (:hi: Sawyr, aka what we thought was Taylor pseudonym 74 but nope turns out its some producer) but nothing great. It's better than a couple of her other recent remixes but its one I never go back to, esp when we have the fabulous Seeb remix.

Now I'm remembering when the people who attended the secret sessions (aka the f***ing worst) were comparing I Forgot That You Existed to State of Grace   a messT, kinda iconic how wrong it was (though NOTHING beats lyrics which could cut glass in terms of secret sessions quotes)

I feel Me! would've been way better as a soundtrack single. Honestly the rumour that it was for the secret life of pets 2 would've been perfect if true.

Poor ME! :( I love the spelling line.

Same I always scream it out loud when it comes on

Honestly just thought that you were drunk again x :kink:

ffs x :kink: I'm not THAT messy. (arguably x)

ME! deserved tbh. Still bitter it was the lead for such a GREAT album with so many other options for lead.

Gutted 'I Forgot That You Existed' is out but I can see why it is. It's cute tho~

I screwed up the clue let's try again x

Your clue for the next section is:!

Dear buzzjack members,

Which album is losing its first song in the next section?

I really need to start paying more attention to the clues because I saw the spelling errors & capitals and somehow didn't think anything of them :kink: I guess more songs from debut will be going - also 'I Forgot That You Existed' to be out soon pls.

Slaying both the debut exits & the hope for IFTYE to leave :o :cheer:

I love your clues. I actually knew what was coming up and didn't get all the clues

ty

Glad that 'I Forgot That You Existed' and 'London Boy' are out - easily the worst two on 'Lover'!

I have a soft spot for 'ME!' but admittedly that was a lot greater when it first came out, the album really housed a lot better in the end.

Dear buzzjack members,

Which album is losing its first song in the next section?

Is that hinting at 'Dear John'.. so Speak Now? ^_^ :o

Never got the hate for ME! personally, definitely not the greatest choice for lead single but its a really fun and catchy, for it to be ranked as the worst song on any album is harsh.

IFTYE on the otherhand is abhorrent :puke2:

I didn’t realise so many peeps disliked I Forgot That You Existed until this rate. I was surprised to see them leaving so early but understand why now

I just think IFTYE is really catchy and play it a lot - London Boy too ! They are like my 7th & 8th favourite songs on the album - I prefer them to at least half of the other songs. I agree IFTYE is probably not the best song to start the album with though. Probably better if it had gone straight into cruel summer.

I actually enjoy every song in the section apart from invisible so glad my ten for Mary's Song helped it pull ahead :P

next, there are a hell of a lot of SPELLING MISTAKES in the 2nd line! (and also in the 3rd line though that one was acc accidental ). And as we know kids, SPELLING IS FUN x
Not me doing a Jay and just thinking you were being your usual messy self

Both Of Us deserved better!
P R E A C H ! ! ! !

Yeah, I'll guess 'Dear John' from that clue!

#160-#156:

160. It's Nice to Have a Friend [Avg. 6.58]
159. Come In With the Rain [Avg. 6.61]
158. I Almost Do [Avg. 6.62]
157. Dear John [Avg. 6.64 (less 10s)]
156. The Other Side of the Door [Avg. 6.64 (more 10s)]

First out in this section is an album track from Lover that I thought would be the first one to go, but it wasn't. Scores range from a high 9 (JosephStyles) to a 4.5 (jtkoon). It received several 5s and 6s. I feel like it's the weakest track on Lover (sorry to its fans!)

Next out is a Fearless album track that has this little blurb about it that I found: Come In With the Rain is "an old expression meaning that when bad times come, people come to their senses and realize what they wanted was there the whole time". It received a high 10 (jtkoon) and a low 3 (AmongHaus). Quite a few 6s and 7s were also given.

We have an album track from Red at 158 called I Almost Do. It received a high score of 9.5 (jtkoon) and a low score of -1 (Ho-Lee Smokes). Lots of 7s across the board.

157 is a track from Speak Now that was written about John Mayer. From what I read, John felt humiliated by the song. It received a high score of 9.5 (jtkoon) and a low score of 5 (Dexton, LondonN11, me) Lots of 6s and 7s.

Last out in this section is another Fearless album track. A blurb that I found about it: "The Other Side Of The Door" tells the story of a relationship Taylor has inadvertently ruined and one that she wants back. It’s an extremely dramatic case in which she and her lover have fought, screamed, and miscommunicated with each other." It received a high score of 10 (jtkoon) and a low score of 3 (Among Haus). 6 and 6.5 for scores were also common.
