I charted the 'Lover' remix at the time but swiftly reverted back to the original oops.

Same  I looked at my last.fm stats and I listened to it 80 times in total! 59 of those in the first 2 days of release, and only 3 times not in 2019, and those 3 times we're all in January 2020 :kink:  a messT

HINTS FOR 126 to 130:

After the Fearless bloodbath in the last section, I can reveal this time we have FIVE different eras represented this time :o What will they be?

Also will self-titled (4 sections in a row) and Red (6 sections in a row) lose another song :o I can tell you, one will continue their bloodbath streak and the other will FINALLY get a break. Also the song from one of these 2 albums leaving here, it's a single :o guess away!

Actually there's 3 singles in this section :o (2 of them properly pushed). And the other 2 have had live performances broadcasted in the UK.

hint breakdown time!!

Red continues to bleed but self-titled took a break for this section :o bloodbath = red. there might've been another hint there but it's been too long icr

The 3 singles were = Everything Has Changed (Red single), White Horse & Eyes Open (with EO being the one not properly pushed). SYGB had the UK performance at OneWorld and Never Grow Up had a performance from that Children In Need charity thing a couple years ago, albeit not by Taylor but I never specified that :kink:

That's what I was trying to say I just worded it weirdly oops (I can't see it not losing another song) :kink:

I think 'The Last Time' is a good shout for the next section or maybe 'Everything Has Changed' Hopefully it's the former, that should've been gone a while ago! Maybe some more songs from Lover and non-album singles in this section as well? I would guess folklore/evermore lose their first song but I've been saying that for a while now so maybe not

ahh igy now!!

You called it with Everything Has Changed! And slaying this section with the Lover & NAS predictions too!! <3 and yep you were right to keep avoiding guessing folkmore :kink:

The Last Time perhaps

somehow, unfortunately the last time isn't the first Red single out :o

I feel pretty similar about the 3 singles in this section. I loved Everything Has Changed at the time of release but have cooled on it, though its still a pretty sweet song. Eyes Open is great & fits the hunger games movie real good but it has nothing on Safe & Sound and White Horse is a lovely ballad but lacks that punch for it to reach the category of her strongest ballads.

Never Grow Up really grew on me overtime and nowadays I adore it  The lyrics are just beautiful & poignant and really hit as I experience different life events, a fantastic track  Love how it's always one of her best performing tracks on UK iTunes nowadays, kinda iconic and beyond insane how it pulled that off!!

And talking of songs that hit me really hard, Soon You'll Get Better is probs the song in Taylor's discography I've had the most emotional moment to ever  This just really came at a time where it completely hit me like a shot to the heart, the emotion and lyrics are so powerful and poignant  I love The Chicks harmonies on the track and yep this song destroys me every time. A tough listen but deserved better here, should easily be top 100 & one of the best from Lover  Though at least it did well compared to its streaming stats, its streams are awful for a song that's not in the last couple tracks of the album

and the last post in a row for me now, here's the hints for 121 to 125!!

HINTS FOR 121 to 125:

At last we're here! This section is finally in touch for this section to belong to all of us. And to quote her friend-became enemy-became friend again, this section is hot 'n' cold

At last we're here! This section is finally in touch for this section to belong to all of us. And to quote her friend-became enemy-became friend again, this section is hot 'n' cold

Cold As You?

#125-#121:

125. Last Kiss [Avg. 7.194 (one 9.5)]
124. Cold As You [Avg. 7.222]
123. Untouchable [Avg. 7.222 (same 10s but more 9.5s)]
122. Picture To Burn [Avg. 7.222 (more 10s)]
121. Ours [Avg. 7.25 (less 10s)]

Let’s continue the countdown from 125 to 121, in which we lose more songs from Taylor’s first three albums: two from Taylor Swift, one from Fearless and two from Speak Now.

Firstly, at 125 is an album track from Speak Now that is supposedly written about Joe Jonas. "The song "Last Kiss" is sort of like a letter to somebody. You say all of these desperate, hopeless feelings that you have after a breakup. Going through a breakup you feel all of these different things. You feel anger, and you feel confusion, and frustration. Then there is the absolute sadness." -Taylor
It received high scores of 10 (jtkoon), a 9.5 (John-James), and an 8.5 (Ultra's Version). It didn't receive any lower than a 5 (Jade, Ho-Lee Smokes). Lots of 7.5s, 7s, and 6s.

Next, at 124 is Cold As You from Taylor’s debut album. I think this song is nice enough and has a beautiful chorus. Taylor said this was her favourite song on the album and that “the hook is ‘I’ve never been anywhere as cold as you.’ I love a line in a song where afterward you’re just like? Burn.” At the time, Taylor felt the lyrics to the song were some of the best she’d ever written. IMO the song deserved higher than 124. It received a lot of 7s and 8s, with a high of 10 from Ultra and a low of 4 from Among Haus.

I personally feel the next song is so beautiful and underrated. Untouchable from Fearless is at number 123. I can’t believe this received so many low scores. I gave it a 9.5 and I wish I’d given it a 10. And the quality of Taylor’s version is just the icing on the cake for me. John-James awarded the song with a 10. Sadly, it received lots of 6s and 7s with a low of 4 from Among Haus. This song is actually a cover, originally sung by Luna Halo.

Picture To Burn is next, at 122. This was the 4th song Taylor released and was a top 30 hit in the US. This song feels like it really hasn’t aged well but is still a bop. People either seem to love or hate this song. It received two 10s from Jktoon and DionTheSats123 but on the flip side received some low scores of 3.5 (Dexton), 4 (Cremey, Jade and John-James).

And finally at 121 is Ours, the 6th song released from Speak Now as a promotional single from the deluxe edition. This song reached the top 15 in the US. I think it is such a beautiful song and I love it a lot. Actually I just love this album so much!!! Like Untouchable, I definitely feel this song is leaving far too soon. It actually received a 9.5 from Riser and a number of 9s from myself, Ultra, Ready For It, Nina West, DionTheSats123. But… received a 1 from Jade and 5s from Dexton and Ho-Lee-Smokes ouch.. Brining its average right down.

Last Kiss is probs around the perfect place, a very lovely song but not one I go back to majorly. Untouchable has hit me a lot more after the re-recordings, I'd give it a higher score now than I did but at the same time I wouldn't place it any higher in this rate. Untouchable has the rare distinction of being one of the only covers in Taylor's discography & this entire rate!

The other 3 tho   ALL DESERVED TOP 100 GAH.

Cold As You is my album track highlight from selftitled, such a fabulous beauty of a track, I love her vocals on it so much & the production + lyrics are fabulous <3 Def should be higher but tbh I'm kinda impressed it didn't drop out earlier!

Picture To Burn issa bop. It used to be a MAJOR fave of mine when I was 13/14, but its cooled on me quite a bit nowadays. Still stan tho. On the other hand, Ours legit only hit me like a couple years ago but now I love & can't believe I wasn't massive on it for too long :o The lyrics are so great and the melody is so cute, a lovely lil song

I am SHOCKED Ours is the first of the 3 Speak Now bonus tracks out tho, esp as it was a single :o

HINTS FOR 121 to 125:

At last we're here! --> last kiss

This section is finally in touch --> untouchable

for this section to belong to all of us. --> Ours

And to quote her friend-became enemy-became friend again, this section is hot 'n' cold --> hot = picture to BURN, cold = COLD as you

Cold As You?

You got it!! :cheer:

I wish my first comment in this thread was more positive (sorry :kink:) but Picture To Burn is too low and Ours is wayyy too low! :( Idk how many Speak Now songs have left already but it's too many x
I like all of those but I'm not too sad to see any of them go. Would maybe have liked to see 'Cold As You' a little higher as that's definitely one of my highlights from debut!

'Hey Stephen' is cute, but I didn't expect it much higher than where it's at. Not really too fussed on 'Stay Beautiful', tis nice enough though. 'This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things' is an absolute B O P. Idc. Always has been one of my favourite 'Reputation' tracks and at this stage, I'm just happy it avoided bottom 10! Kinda thought 'Ronan' would be higher! So I'm disappointed to see it so low. It's a beaut! 'The Lucky One' is SO good. It's not one I hear too much about when people are discussing Taylor tracks and I think that should change tbh. Great song.

'You Are In Love' is definitely one of the more "fillery" moments from that masterpiece of an album, but it's a stunner. I rated 'The Outside' a 7.5, but honestly, I don't remember it by memory </3 'Gorgeous' is definitely bottom 5 of 'Reputation' for me. Bland and just boring. SNOOOOOZE! 'Stay Stay Stay' is good. Not a highlight or anything particularly special, but decent. 'Paper Rings' issa bop. Quite Avril-y!

'Lover (Remix)' I've heard a couple of times but definitely don't care for it despite liking it. I'll stick to the original. 'A Place in This World' is lovely! 'State of Grace (Acoustic)' is really nice! A really nice take on the original. 'Sweeter Than Fiction' is excellent, how is it so low? Could honestly take or leave 'Today Was a Fairytale'. I do enjoy it when I'm listening though, I would just choose other tracks over it.

'Holy Ground' is really good. Somehow feels a bit too low, but I feel like it's a recurring theme at this point? LMAO! I like 'Jump Then Fall', but it's not essential TayTay. I like this version of 'Change' a lot, but I definitely think this is the one that benefits more from Taylor's Version! So good! 'I'm Only Me When I'm With You' is far FAR too low. Very underrated! One of the earlier moments where you can hear the pop elements in her Country style! Can take or leave 'The Way I Loved You'. It's nice but another one where Taylor's Version >>

'Soon You'll Get Better' is gorgeous and the message... stunning. Not really one I can keep going back to though, personally. But a good song! Probably deserves to be higher. 'Eyes Open' is very good too. 'Everything Has Changed' being out before 'The Last Time' is... VERY pleasing to see! SO happy TLT is still to come and this drab song is out! EHC is the worst song on 'Red' TALK ABOUT IT (it's not even "awful" it's just bland). MEH at 'Never Grow Up' too. Weakest on 'Speak Now' with 'Last Kiss' imo. 'White Horse' is nice too, but again I think Taylor's Version actually enhances it more. Such a MEH section on the whole. The lower sections had songs that should've been higher :(

'Last Kiss' MEHHHHHHH. Same goes for 'Cold As You' & 'Untouchable' oops! All my 6.0's leaving one after the other whilst there are songs I rated higher further down  'Picture to Burn' should definitely be higher. Great song! Another one that isn't too country and has elements of pop-rock to it. 'Ours' isn't a favourite, but it's decent enough. Probably about the right place for it when all is said and done.

---

SO happy to see 'The Last Time' has managed to make the top 120! I definitely expected it to be in the first 30 to leave, so this is a result! I suspect it's going to be out next, but that's OK. Her most underrated single and song by quite some distance! STUNNING. The blueprint for 'exile'.

I find 'Ours' quite juvenile and irritating oops, sorry to have brought that down :kink:

Add me to those who are surprised that 'The Last Time' is still to come *.*

HINTS FOR 116 to 120:

Is time finally up for folklore or evermore :o Which album will be the last one to lose a song :o

Zero singles this time round... doesn't mean we don't have a moment for songs with videos though and THREE songs which share something in common!

I'd imagine either peace or closure will be the first song to leave from folklore/evermore.

#116-#120:

116. Come Back... Be Here [Avg. 7.30]
117. peace [Avg. 7.29 (more 9's)]
118. it's time to go [Avg. 7.29 (less 9's)]
119. The Best Day [Avg. 7.26]
120. The Moment I Knew [Avg. 7.25 (more 10's)]

So in this section, we have 2 deluxe tracks from the same album, the first 2 exits from her 2 most recent era's and an album track that received a video!

After finally taking a break from losing any more songs in the last section, Red makes up for it with 2 exiting here! And it very nearly continued its consecutive sections dropouts as The Moment I Knew makes this section by a tiebreak! Y'all did the Red bonus tracks SO WRONG   All three DESERVED TOP 100 MINIMUM ffs!! Anyway let's start with the one in the 120th, the absolute gorgeous, career highlight, should've been on the main album, The Moment I Knew  What a BEAUTY of a track, it builds so beautifully into the last chorus (the lil hidden details revealed aha), her vocals on the chorus are fab, the bridge whew, the lyrics hit so hard and its such a masterpiece of an underrated gem. It's like a lesser All Too Well, which is obvs no shade. It received 10's from myself (obviously) & John-James, whilst a 3 & 5.5 hurt it badly here. Bookending this section is the highest Red deluxe track to appear (technically, somehow Red Demo beat them all  ), Come Back... Be Here! Another song that should've made the main album, the chorus is so good & once again love the little lyric changes across them all. The song is v. similar to another underrated gem, Wish You Were Here by Avril Lavigne. I adore both so much and CBBH deserved way better here! I was the highest scorer (unsurprisingly again) with a 9.5 and this just had pretty consistent scores but nothing too high!

Let's go onto paragraph 2 with the exit of the newbies! As both folklore & evermore lose their FIRST tracks over 70 tracks into the rate :o And both of them with the same average too :o :o However folklore is the champion here of the albums with it being the last album to lose a track in the rate, just :cheer: So starting with evermore, we have bonus track it's time to go being the first song to leave from Taylor's most recent studio album! I am actually shocked this is the first evermore track to leave, especially over a certain other track. It's time to go is such a beautiful closer to evermore and is def underrated, feel it would be doing better here if it was on the standard! That moment when the production slightly shifts towards the end is so masterful & makes this go from a nice closer to a song I love & return to! For the 3rd time in this section, I am the highest scorer again (giving it a 9) This only received one low score but a hella lot of 7's bring it down here! So moving onto the first folklore song, we have less of a surprise as the song that finished last in the folklore rate, peace, is the first one to depart here too! peace is a fantastic song (obviously, its on folklore), but is probs the weakest for me on the album. It's lovely in the context of the album but doesn't have anything in it that stands out for me too much to return to the song by itself! peace received 9's from Blacksquare & Cremey, but once again a lot of scores from 5 to 7.5 ends it up here!

And diverging back to 119th, we have The Best Day from Fearless! The song was an incredibly personal one to Taylor, written about her mother, which has obviously taken on more poignance over the past few years  It's a lovely little cute track, the lyrics are beautiful and its a gorgeous song. One that's really aged well over-time! The video is heartwarming too <3 We stan a classic and it deserved a lil higher here! *.* Jtkoon was the highest scorer with a 9.5, whilst this received a lot of 5's to 7's!
Peace being above the likes of This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things, Me, London Boy, So It Goes, and You Are In Love ain’t it

Edited by Doug

Peace is a lovely song but I think it's very lucky to have made it this far. I also wasn't expecting it's time to go to be the first to go from evermore! Not a highlight for me but certainly not the worst.
