* TaraElla's monthly music review is a summary of the TaraElla daily charts of the previous month. This chart reflects the month of March, 2021.

* Since January 2021, a song earns a 'point' by being number one on a single day.

* We are counting down to 1000 #1s, currently we are at #993.

20. Taylor Swift - Cardigan (former #1 in 2020)

19. Harry Styles + Other Versions - Adore You

18. Channel Aid - We Are The World 2020 (former #1 in 2020, End of Year #1 2020)

17. Delta Goodrem - Paralyzed (former #1 in 2020)

16. Taylor Swift - Only The Young (former #1 in 2020)

15. Meghan Trainor - Holiday (former #1 in 2020)

14. Samantha Jade - Back 2 Back (former #1 in 2020)

13. Gwen Stefani - Let Me Reintroduce Myself

12. Rebecca Black - Girlfriend

11. Miley Cyrus - Prisoner (former #1 in 2020)

10. JoJo - American Mood (3 points)

9. Anne-Marie - Don't Play (3 points)

8. Taylor Swift - Willow (38 points)

7. Montaigne - Technicolour

6. Olivia Rodrigo - Driver's Licence (5 points, cumulative #1 of the year)

Rodrigo is the second #1 artist ever to be born after the start of this chart.

And now, the top 5...

5. Taylor Swift & Maren Morris - You All Over Me (3 points this month, 3 points total)

This was only released at the end of the month, and dominated the charts for the last three days, becoming the 993th #1. Expect this to be a strong contender for the top spot in the next monthly review.

4. Ella Henderson & Tom Grennan - Let's Go Home Together (4 points this month, 4 points total)

3. Taylor Swift - Love Song (Taylor's Version) (7 points this month, 21 points total)

Last month's biggest hits drops two spots in this month's review. Back in 2008, it was Taylor's first #1 on this chart, and now it's her 38th too. (It counts as two entries because the vocals are different).

2. Bebe Rexha - Sacrifice (10 points this month, 10 points total)

1. Billie Eilish - Therefore I Am (7 points this month, 7 points total)

This is Billie Eilish's first #1 ever on these charts!

Very solid top 2 with Billie Eilish and Bebe Rexha :D

Hey Tara Ella :)

Cardigan at #20 is such a beautiful song.

Very happy to see Girlfriend here as well.

Willow  it's such a good song. Taylor has been amazing with her last two albums.

Hi Tara!

Happy to see Sacrifice so high! I wish it would take off for her, it doesn't deserve to flop :(

Hey Tara,

Good chart

I love that Bebe Rexha song, it's awesome :yahoo:

So many Taylor songs

Hi Tara - well done to Billie getting her first #1 on your chart! She's yet to have one on mine, but Everything I Wanted came close peaking at #2.

I'd love to see a high debut for Deja Vu on your next chart!

Oh wow welcome back Tara :hi:

Thanks for all the great comments! :cheer:

SSP, Dalek Turret, and Riser, I was surprised that I actually liked Therefore I Am, having not been a big fan of Billie Eilish's music before. But life is full of surprises, right?

Adam G, Sven, SSP, and seltinpixmile, it's wonderful to see so many people agree that Sacrifice is a great song! Hope it does better in the world out there!

Jade, JSG, and Sven, it's great that you are appreciating the Taylor Swift tracks. To date, Taylor has already had 39 chart toppers in my chart. She has topped the charts every year from 2008 to 2021 except 2016.

This month so far, Taylor Swift has been doing very well with You All Over Me. Meanwhile, To Begin Again (Ingrid Michaelson), Follow Me (Jamie Lynn Spears), Dancing With The Devil (Demi Lovato) and Deja Vu (Olivia Rodrigo) are all possibilities for the top 10.
