I'll just be looking forward to loads of football. Personally, I reckon the overall quality of the tournament is going to be really low. Players are goosed from the season and I think it will show in the summer.

That said, the tournament looks wide open this year. Italy are my bets but I genuinely think it could be a surprise this summer.

Yeh not sure how this will end up would be nice to see Portugal retain their title they’ve held for an unprecedented 5 years as they’ve got loads of great players coming through at the moment alongside established talents! Of course then there’s Ronaldo!!

Italy, Spain, or England are my picks in that order. I keep imagining an Italy vs. Spain final.

Denmark (1992's 'Hans Christian Fairytale' Re-visited?) or Turkey would be my picks for Darkhorses.

How on earth are England favourites when France are the world champions and Portugal are the holders and won the nations league recently??

Literally the only reason I can think of is cos the Semis and Final are played in England if we even get there. Didn't help back in '96 mind!

We don't have the defence to win it.

Yeh true can’t see England winning but would like them to make theSemi final as I like Southgate as a person

Those odds are based on punters etc. - there is no standout team. I don't think England will win for what it's worth, whilst our attack is excellent, our backline is crap.

I think if we play the likes of Belgium/Germany/Portugal, no matter how good or bad they may be their overall individual quality will shine through much more than ours.

Wishful thinking punters

England would do well to get to the semi finals, Belgium would be my pick if they work together well as a unit. I think France will have run out of steam after how the past 2 major international tournaments have gone for them.

England are likely to have 6 of 7 games at their home stadium to win it, it is essentially a home tournament for them and hosts always have shorter odds. I don't think there is a really obvious favourite, and will be a difficult tournament to judge based on a tougher than normal season for the players.
And I still have no clue whether I'm going or not

I think they let us know soon(ish) - depends whether we're lucky enough in the ballot draw now, might be slightly harder if you have an England game!
