Well, this got me doubting:

• The shipping price.

• The stories about PPR.

This… and I listened to it on iTunes… yeah I’ll never be playing that vinyl 😂

I hope so to! I’m still debating if I should get a copy.

Get it when it’s *actually* available - PPR are notorious for having things on pre-order for months and months and then missing multiple release dates due to manufacturing etc.,

Their product is good but their business model is flawed.

Well I’ve got a screenshot of the post that says August so this time it can’t be argued.

I feel like I should really listen to this album for the first time ever before I consider spending out on a vinyl of it! Just haven't found the motivation to do it yet oops.
I think if you want the vinyl in your collection go for it as I don't think listening to the album will make you rush out and buy it. In my opinion it's not a great album.

Don't... you won't buy the vinyl if you do... like me

Poor Lisa

I'm curious about where (or if) she'll chart. Dannii Minogue got to #55 with these new physical formats: 1 vinyl, 1 cassette, and (I think?) 3 different CDs. Lisa has 2 vinyl, 1 cd, 1 cassette (CDs available signed or unsigned). She'd need to sell about 1,100 copies to go Top 200 - that would be less than half of Dannii's sales (2,564). I'd say it's around 1,600 copies needed to go Top 100.

I wonder what Lisa's expectations are!

Im hoping Lisa can make to to the Top 100, what her own expectations are is hard to know, with Lisa she might think she has a shot of number 1 :( :o
I don’t think LSL will be troubling the charts - their reissue for Nicola (GA) didn’t make an impact (I don’t think they had set themselves up in time to be chart eligible for their SEB releases).

Nicola’s album had a staggered release, so any impact from CDs and Cassette was “wasted” (and both of those were released when Plastic Pop still wasn’t eligible to have its products be considered for the charts). In the week of the vinyl release, he had become eligible some time beforehand.

I managed to work out from some midweek data that Nicola had to have sold over 710 physical copies that week, but less than 737. This was in July 2022 and Top 200 generally needed approaching 900 sales at that point. If all of her formats had come out at the same time I assume she would have charted.

Lisa has more of a mountain to climb though with the sales for Top 200 being nearer 1,100 at the moment, but in theory all of the items are going to be released at the same time (although watch this end up being messed up, lol).

Releasing everything together will possibly help Lisa chart, Nicolas sales been split gave her no chance. Hopefully Lisa's release can go without a hitch.

This is Plastic Pop Records we’re talking about though, we’ll probably get the cassette, followed by a 4 week wait for the CD then a 4 month wait for the vinyl - then inbetween they will ‘lose’ the signed prints in transit like they did with Nicola’s ones and she had to re-sign everything!

Honestly, I’m getting twitchy with anger in advance!

I’m certain that off the back of Steps success, and the fact she is essentially releasing a piece of gay pop history (aka above) that she could have mustered up a better label than Plastic Pop!

It’s going to be Concept Records Part 2 - where is MTV, Michelle Heaton and Nathan Moore when you need them

That does not sound promising at all.
