May 22, 20214 yr UK really need to wake up and send someone that’s going to put on a show and perform and entertain and is a complete package . I don’t understand why it’s that hard for them to understand this ? They don’t care mate!
May 22, 20214 yr They don’t care mate! I'm not sure how long the Tory puppet BBC Tory boss will even keep us in the competition. Bojo might demand he take us out.
May 22, 20214 yr With the notable exception of France (their song was ok and I get the hype behind it but it's one of those songs ruined by the French language just not being pleasant on the ears for me a good amount of the time oops) what a FANTASTIC set of results there - over the moon with Italy winning, and the other 5 songs in the top 6 were all in my own personal top 6 which were my main standouts really!! I just had Albania up there instead of France and well that was never going to happen obviously x Oop at the UK but I can't say it was unexpected, at least we had lots of company in the '0 points from the public' gang x It wasn't one of the worst songs but it's certainly one that is the most lacking in compelling reasons that it'd attract votes from anyone.
May 22, 20214 yr Omg this is the rockiest winner since Lordi. I particularly liked Italy's entry, Greece's entry, Switzerland, Iceland, Finland and they all did well so that's good!
May 22, 20214 yr From Flo Rida to B6 notes to Moldova mess to Ukraine’s PIECE OF f***ING ART OF A SONG to Russia and Malta feminist anthems to the x4 nul points combo to the first ever trans Eurovision host. What an amazing year.
May 22, 20214 yr Happy for Italy, they should have won about three times since they returned! And amazing to see a foreign language top three although none were among my personal favourites. So good to see Iceland top five, won a tiny bit of money on the each way bet on them at least  Some crazy votes from the public - Cyprus, San Marino, Netherlands, Belgium and especially Malta all deserved far more than their paltry scores - what the hell do Malta need to do to get a good televote score? Obviously a shame for James but not a huge surprise and softened by the hilarious quartet of nul pointers on the televote  why Germany and Spain ever thought those songs would be a good idea is beyond me. Netherlands did deserve some though.
May 22, 20214 yr Didnt want an Italy win but see why, as hosts they can only improve on their hosting 30 years ago.The public voting was brutal this year, shocked at Makta only getting 47 and cyprus and san merino not popular with either. Why did it take long for Italy to get back on stage, it seemed to take forever. Good year for old eurovision countries.
May 22, 20214 yr Italy were faaar from my favourites BUT I didn't mind the song (particularly as I realise I'm not really the target audience ) so congratulations to them, certainly a memorable winner. GUTTED for San Marino, I expected more televote love for that one! :(

What an amazing year. The Russian entry had a good message behind it but melodically I found it a bit annoying though, it got better in the second half of the song though. May 22, 20214 yr UK, rock bottom, I really wasn't expecting that there was worst tracks especially from Germany, Norway and Spain. As for the winners not my thing, It was looking at Malta, Swiss & France to win it at one point, gutted for the Swiss, such a beautiful track, even the French entry was pretty good. Not sure what UK have to do to win this again, probably send a well known act... Jess Glynne
May 22, 20214 yr A great night for my favourites, all of that top 5 I ranked in my top 10 *. Ukraine was comfortably my favourite so I'm a little sad the juries sank it, but that's still a great result and good to see France finally do really well, feels like it's been a while! (I may be out with that, sorry x) Those televotes were truly brutal, Netherlands were extremely undeserved for that. I feel bad for James, but I don't see how anyone couldn't have seen that coming, I mean would anyone here rank UK in their top 10? It's our first null pointer in a long time so pretty iconic tbh x Great hosting from Rotterdam I agree, I really enjoyed this evening, so lovely to have this back
May 22, 20214 yr Europe still in the grip of Corona. Any sense of taste is yet to be found tonight :cheeseblock:
