I don't think you can judge anything on its streaming numbers tbh. A proper new single would get Heart, radio 2 radio play, a proper video, a lot more hype, pushed play listing.

It will do well comparatively I'm sure but it won't really be an indicator.

I'd say as fans we should spend Thursday streaming the f*** out of Wannabe then do the same for Feed your love for the whole week of the 9th. Then have a big download/streaming/physical push for Wannabe on its vinyl/cassette release week.

You can't judge anything on Feed Your Love's streaming numbers, yet here you are pushing for fans to stream the song all week long.

I said you can't judge how a brand new song (not a demo from the vaults) would do as there would be a lot more tangible aspects to a brand new songs release. Not sure what you didn't understand. Of course I want people to stream feed your love I want more stuff from the vaults.

You Want people to stream Feed Your Love because you want more stuff from the vaults. You're contradicting yourself because you said this a few pages ago in this thread.

You'll get more unreleased stuff, that's all sorted and signed off. The big question is can they sort that tour out and actually get to Australia, Asia, US/South America and the UK

If the unreleased tracks are all sorted and signed off then it doesn't matter how Feed Your Love does on streaming. It seems you can't keep your story straight.

Of course it matters, universal are sorting all this with just the girls signing things off but that's not an absolute guarantee it will happen if Universal think it's not worth the effort.

The girls don't own the rights to their music, they couldn't release stuff without Universal so they need to be satisfied they will get their return from the releases.

I'm not sure why you are being deliberately antagonistic, I think no one expects or would judge how a brand new freshly recorded Spice Girls single would do based off an old demo essentially being released as a bside to a 25 year old song. However everyone can obviously understand it needs to attain a certain level of success (more the physical sales as that's where the money will be made) for Universal to keep pushing through with more releases from the vaults.

Melanie C numbers (being independent) are not lackluster. BIOM (acoustic) has more than 2 million streams. It’s the support of big Playlists that she needs. The Spice Girls will get good numbers, but don’t forget what I’m saying here: PEOPLE want to hear the hits because of nostalgia, everything new is for the fans (so I won’t expect of course the numbers Little Mix or Black Pink do).

any chance for DEMO song gets a playlist?

If the artist is big enough of course and if the label puts their hand in their pocket.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for it to be on NMF play list.

The only thing stopping brand new music from the girls is themselves. Any label would happily release a brand new Spice Girls single and album. They aren't just a UK act they have a WW fanbase so it's not like it would be a Steps kind of UK only sales wise thing.

The sales from the Universal store for the vinyl/cassette were 78% from people with non UK addresses.

The UK is not the best place for the girls when it comes to sales and chart, right? Or maybe that 12% was higher compared to each of the other countries?

I'm glad we both agree Feed Your Love's streaming numbers do matter. They do mean something.

Biff is doing a Instagram live chat on Friday so get your Woman questions ready. :P

Would be nice if they had a 30 sec preview before Friday, literally is dead silence from them !

Well the anniversary is tomorrow so I’d assume posts would begin then

You should be getting an insta filter of the Wannabe stairs I assume so people can add it to pictures of them posing and gain some more social media traction tomorrow.

I read about this on Spice Circle and Popjustice as well. This will be a huge hit on social media.

Good morning Britain will be live from the St Pancras hotel tomorrow morning.

There should be lots going on tomorrow hopefully. I'm sure it will sail well over 500k streams tomorrow on Spotify.

Just noticed there’s a new Spotify visual when you play Wannabe on your phone
