Meh... These girls and their team, honestly.....

As usual, the bare minimum... Not a single new unreleased track that we havent heard. The Who Do you Think You Are demo is the most exciting but even that has made the rounds before (its just nowhere to be seen at the moment). We know that the Say You'll Be There (Rap Version) exists. WHY NOT PUTTING THAT OUT THERE?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?

I hope the physical releases are at least a bit more exciting cos this is shit so far....

Lets see what they have in store for the various formats but Im not confident at all. Honestly, two girlbands have already announced new editions/GH of their songs this year. Both of them with incredible formats and tracklists. Giving the fans what they want. We get the worst of the lost, as usual...

They really cant help themselves hey?

The track listing is absolutely horrendous. They could have at least given us Likely Stories.
The 7'' Radio Mix of Say You'll Be There is very nice. I like it.
I know we have heard some of the demos but it's great to have them officially released. To be on streaming services for all to hear and accumulate streams/sales for them.

This is true.

It's just a shame that they are sitting on unreleased material and not doing anything with it. Also as mentioned the extended Say you'll be there rap would have been a fabulous addition. Now I'm no longer a collector there really is nothing on here that entices me to buy it.

The cover is cute though, a nod to the original with the updated one.

Lets see... do we know when the actual announcement will come?... Since the Say You'll Be There mix is out tonight, I would imagine the announcement will come tomorrow?

Shaking at the prospect of physicals (and ready to be dissapointed lol) cos I just know they will charge like £30 for a bloody vinyl, £20 for a cassette and will release no CD at all.

We will get another mug, that's for sure. And maybe a new clown fancy dress costume with the new Spice 25 on it, like we deserve to...

The new design is a bit naff to be honest. WILD to me that it was all meant to be more silver-focused (which I really liked) but it all got into that awful mixed coloured logo we now have only cos some fans pissed themselves that it 'wAsnT SPicY enUff' I dont think it works at all and we ended up with a terrible design...

OK I will stop ranting now.

Me logging on to the website tomorrow to buy a couple of items and then be bitter that I spent over £100 on these girls AGAIN:

It's out:

You can also pre-order the album on iTunes here:

The SYBT mix is cute. It's good to hear clearly the girls singing the chorus, each girls get a bit of a moment to shine there but it's nothing amazing really.

Also to note: the Pre-Order on iTunes labels the songs that I already have from previous purchases (so the whole first part of the album and the already-released tracks including the Biffco mix of Mama and the Feed Your Love demo) as already purchased and only the demos and unreleased mixes as 'pre-ordered'...

Does that mean only those count as sales?... Wild if so. That would mean no new mastering?!?!? <_<

I'm happy but then I honestly thought up until about a year ago we would never ever get anything not already officially released. So yeah it could be better but I'll just look at it like we've gotten feed your love, demos, love thing remix and some odd goodbye message already and the plan is for a 2 or 3 year celebration of 25 years so I'm sure more will come.

The small discography is starting to grow and I'm sure it will carry on.

No offense, but the streaming numbers of the Wannabe demo has shown that no one is interested in them.

True, and it makes sense as well. I'd listened to the demo once, but rather stick to the original version I know and love and I think most people feel this way.

Oh the demos won't get big numbers but in this day and age it's about getting as much content out there as possible and keeping people coming back to your Spotify page etc. Mel C has got this with the acoustic releases periodically, just keeping fans coming back then 'oh I'll play Melanie C (the album) haven't played that in a while' happens when on the page.

The more content you put out the better and every now and again something will get a play listing too to help.

As for the content I'm pretty sure right now the Touch era stuff is off limits and the girls had a hand in what went on this. So if Melanie C or Geri thinks an unreleased song was truly shit I doubt it would get a place for the sake of it.

Feed your love the girls always liked, I'm sure it's been written about how keen they were on it back in the day but it didn't fit on Spice so never went beyond the demo stage we have of it.

Am I reading that right, £25.99 for a CD???

It's 2 cds in a box with a book from the looks of it.

I hope it isn’t Spice Store exclusive I really want to buy it on Bol.com like I did with Wannabe25 cause the shipping cost is crazy
