Melanie talking about 'diving into the archive' with such confidence gives me hope, honestly! I was pleasantly surprised with Feed Your Love being included in the Wannabe re-release, so this bodes really well for us this year :cheer:

Has anyone else paid for the vinyl yet or will the money come out when dispatched?

I ordered the bundle on the official website and had to pay immediately.

Love the picture of Skin and the girls  She is fantastic and it just screams 90's to me.

That’s weird I ordered on the official website too and nothing has came out, I have the confirmation email though. Strange !

If she says it, I buy it. When it comes to music release and stuff like that, I know she takes things seriously. I’m sure it’s not another Mel B lie (bless my Mel B ❤️).

I have good feelings for Woman (I personally don’t like it). I hope we’ll hear Spice is Back, Angels, and the Spice World unreleased tracks.

I would have rather had Do You Think About Me (officially) but at this point I’m gagging for anything new SG related so…

Am I the only one just not feeling this I am a Spice Girl campaign. I mean no your father or random men aren't spice girls, I can only imagine a casual fan who sees a video of other people's male loved ones thinking wtf.

I always feel like they miss the mark lately, it's 25 years of the Spice Girls I want to see them, unseen footage, pics, the 4 or 5 together now.

I guess that’s why they’re doing it. Minimum to no effort, no new content, some random “feel good” sentences here and there, and cash in!

It’s hard to be a Spice Girls fan (and no, guys, we are not demanding. We’ve had basically nothing more than the Tour and a boring Greatest Hits).

I agree that it’s pretty uninspired and definitely low effort. I really don’t care to see a collage or compilation of other fans lol.

I hope things get more interesting as we approach the actual anniversary date.

They only lasted two years. It is easier to be a Backstreet Boys dan than a Spice one!! We have two albums and solo albums and that's it!

Same.

Melanie C is also hosting a radio 2 show the day after the Richard E Grant one called 'Summer of '96'

Heart will also have something but it's yet to be announced yet.

Really wish Geri had stayed for onw more album in 1999 :(

That album would have sold at least 8-9 million globally still or more with the right concept and the right tunes, the market was still huge. They were the spice girls, the global megastars. The fans and some casuals would have bought their record anyway and today we would have at least three spice classics.

Those radio programmes should be pretty interesting!

Spice Up Your Life - 25 Years Of Girl Power

Release date:03 July 2021

57 minutes

When the Spice Girls debut single, Wannabe, was released in 1996, the only word to describe the reaction to it is frenzy! Even now, 25 year on, the opening ‘Yooooo’ to the track still has the power to provoke a big reaction. To mark the anniversary of the single - and indeed the frenzy that followed – Richard E Grant, who was in the movie Spice World, embarks on a nostalgic journey revisiting the much-loved songs of the Spice Girls canon, whilst speaking to some of the UK’s biggest Spice Girl superfans to get to the heart of what the group and girl power meant then and what it still means today. This programme is a joyful celebration of fandom, girl power, the music of the 90s and above all the Spice Girls!

My Life In A Mixtape with Mel C (4 July, 9pm-10pm)

Melanie Chisholm – aka Mel C and Sporty Spice - takes listeners on a very personal mix-tape journey, sharing the stories behind the songs that have been the soundtrack to her life.

With Stevie Wonder as one of her earliest memories, music has always played a huge part in Mel’s life. From Madonna to Blur via the fabulous Lizzo and many more, each track she selects evokes a memory of a time and place, as she journeys from childhood to the present day, playing the tunes that have been the accompaniment to her life.

Mel C says: “It’s going to be a wonderful trip down memory lane, sharing some of my very favourite tunes and the memories they take me to with Radio 2 listeners.”

YYYAYAAYYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYYYYA REMASTERED IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY SHOULD BE DOING!!

Girlies, FINALLY, after so many years, we are getting FED finally. New releases, DEMOS, UNRELEASED TRACKS, REMASTERED MUSIC!! A TOUR HAPPENING SOON AGAIN!!!
