What's the record for longest wait for a second hit then seeing as it's been 10 and a half years since Whip My Hair?

Also as she is 20 years old it means she had to wait half her lifetime for a second hit too, is that a first? (presuming the song does go top 40)

Nice to see Willow looking set for another hit, though her chart history will look a bit weird going from whip my hair to transparent soul

Or from '21st Century Girl' :P

didn't realise it was the same willow hahaha :D

looking at Amazon, surprised to see Mimi Webb as high as #3, didn't know she was Alea's favourite :o

other interesting positions on Amazon:

1+11 Good4U

3 Mimi Webb

13 Heartbreak Anthem

15 Rasputin

21 Måneskin - Slave

30 Arrive - Oliver Twist

111 Calvin & Tom

 #12 Måneskin - I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE

Matches the Spotify peak of ZITTI E BUONI now!

Good to see it doing well on Amazon too :o

 #12 Måneskin - I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE

in other news Oliver Twist is up to 10, clearly a big hit incoming there. Roddy Rich is top 50 for the first time and Anne/Niall is back top 50. new Tion Wayne top 40 for the first time too.

also it appears Spotify now have weekly album charts top 50 - and they appear to be compiled properly on some level unlike the OCC as there aren’t any greatest hits albums. although Mabel is there at 27 so clearly they’re just counting plays of any song from playlists.

Amazing ! Wonder how far they are behind top 10 hopefully they can make top 10 soon

This is gonna be huge isn't it? :o

It looks like it :cheeseblock: what an exciting time for them / Eurovision!

 #72 Måneskin - Beggin' also ;o

Amazing ! Wonder how far they are behind top 10 hopefully they can make top 10 soon

These are the figures on Spotify now:

#10 ArrDee [234,715]

#12 Måneskin [222,826]

They're only 2k behind #11 right now.

Of course top 10 with ACR/3 track rule factored in though!

'I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE' had 184,803 streams the previous day so that has shot up. We'll have to see if that's the case again for tomorrow *.*

whats the link for there Spotify albums chart?
Good 4 u below a million streams today at 921k. Do we think it’s reached it’s peak now? I still expect it to be number 1 for a while yet but maybe it’s reached it’s peak now like drivers licence did at a certain point?

Up for both I Wanna Be Your Slave and Oliver Twist being big! :yahoo:

Same here.

Both are continuing to gain momentum, I think Oliver Twist can debut in the Top 10 and hopefully I Wanna Be Your Slave will reach it next week.

Of all the places the long overdue singles chart rock revival could have come from, Eurovision is the last place I'd have expected *.*

I wonder if it's a one-off or if there really will be more rock breaking into the higher reaches now.

Even more bizarre that it isn't even their winning track that's properly taking off.

The argument that Eurovision is a great global platform for the right act has never been stronger than now, yet I'm sure the BBC and British artists who could really use it to their advantage will continue to treat it with contempt. It's a GREAT look for the contest though for a winning artist to explode like this, it should lead to a lot more major artists who want wider European exposure wanting to take part.

Or from '21st Century Girl' :P

That’s true. Would have preferred it didn’t chart at all than get to 91.

Good 4 u below a million streams today at 921k. Do we think it’s reached it’s peak now? I still expect it to be number 1 for a while yet but maybe it’s reached it’s peak now like drivers licence did at a certain point?

Yeh as someone said songs that streams are so huge normally after a period fall quickly to another base of say 500k like ‘Drivers Licence’ did.
