Pretty insane, there’s not been such buzz around a rock band in the singles chart with multiple simultaneous big hits for…a long time, I don’t even remember how long, Kings of Leon?

The difference is, due to OCC rules, the album will be regarded as a huge flop in the history books :(

That is, if they don't release a successful vinyl or sth.

When was the last time we had a french language song chart? Is it Stromae in 2009?

Potentially two of them coming up based on the recent updates. :o

Their latest album is getting a CD and vinyl release in the U.K. on 16th July so hopefully that'll give it a much stronger peak!

a couple of weeks ago if you're counting the top 75, the French Eurovision entry Voila made #62. otherwise I can't think of anything since Stromae.

I don't see either of the two currently climbing reaching top 40.

Fly Away seems to be climbing simultaneously everywhere

it's 91 on Apple, 92 on Spotify and 25 on Amazon

but why the climb now? isn't it from last year?? it's also a tiktok?

Yes I’ve seen it a lot on TikTok videos recently. I think it’s quite decent!

Not heard it anywhere on TikTok I don’t think but might just not be coming up for me

Also on Apple it’s her new song, Cloudy Day, that’s being promoted on playlists like A-List Pop and Future hits

Also a very localised sort of climb because it's simultaneously abruptly collapsing in Australia after being a huge hit for months, usually no matter what, there's a force that keeps different national charts somewhat synchronised.

Hopefully it doesn’t climb any further, I didn’t mind Dance Monkey at first until it hung around for far too long but this… incredibibly irritating noise.

Is there anything other than Lady Gaga that you don't regard as a 'huge flop'? :teresa:

Hopefully the tag beggin on Spotify to the album to help it even more!

but it's not out in the UK as CD now? Amazon.co.uk are selling it

It's also out on vinyl all over Europe, in lots of different colours, but maybe the UK doesn't count as Europe :D

Of course!

Yeah, definitely seems ambitious at this point. Not ruling out vegedream completely though.

I've just had a look on Amazon UK and I'm not sure how their stock works but it says Teatro D'Ira - Vol. I vinyl is out of stock and there are 15 copies of the CD so it's not out properly, you can't buy it anywhere in shops here - HMV says both are coming on that July date ^_^ I own all three of their records on vinyl, they all had coloured pressings, but had to get them on eBay lol as they've only properly been distributed elsewhere in Europe
