I gave this one an 8 and honestly, since even posting my rate, I wish I'd given this one a lower score. It's alright. Not amazing. The video itself is a strange one. I can't even remember if there was a separate reason for why they used Zoe for most of the video aside from the fact that they thought it would be a cool idea for Zoe to impersonate Katy etc... The whole thing was just a bit eh for me now.

Having a song titled 'Not The End Of The World' in 2020 wasn't a smart move, I know this was probably conceived before the pandemic, but still Katy & her producers should have maybe changed the title as it's in very poor taste. The song itself is okay, but its hardly innovative, very formulaic & that interpolation of 'Na Na Hey Hey' at the end was very jarring & felt very random. Personally I'd have this a lot lower down in my ranking of this album.

I have no idea why Not The End Of The World has been so well received but it seems that Buzzjack does this sometimes :lol: also yes naming a song Not The End Of The World was a bad move I think.

So, it's my turn to have given a song the lowest score :lol: I was wondering if this would happen and it did! Eventually. Just took it's time. Personally I'm not a huge fan but with 6 10's it's not wonder it's done so well. I know this is a fan favourite so it makes sense. Quite surprisingly no one gave this an 11 which I find strange in the context of getting 6 10's when other songs with no 10's managed to get an 11. Anyway, Harleys In Hawaii ladies and gents!

'Harley's In Hawaii' has a really nice & chilled vibe to it with some unique textural flourishes enter the soundscape, bringing intrigue with them. This doesn't quite hold uo with some of Katy's more memorable & mammoth hits, but its a decent tune that deserved more success than it got. If the singles run went 'Never Really Over' - 'Cry About It Later' & then this, then I reckon this could have easily been more successful.

Daisies is an absolute beautiful song and I find it so sad that it largely got swept under the rug. Thankfully in this rate everyone gave it's average to high marks except for J00prstar. A bloody 3, he gave it. Terrible. The video is lovely as well and it's quite different to anything else she's done before I feel like.

With a score of 8.13 it's clearly loved by the Buzzjack posters 🥰

'Daisies' is a nice song, but it's definitely not among the best of the album for me and they shouldn't have singled it.

'Daises' is certainly one of the album's best tracks & maybe if this got released 3rd after 'Never Really Over' & 'Cry About It Later', then this would have been a much better & stronger run of singles.
