Burnley got their long-awaited victory but even their fans would admit they didn't expect this result. Take nothing away from their victory but Brentford were their own worst enemies because they probably thought playing Burnley was going to be a walk in the park.

Two wins from three for Southampton in the League, this one earned by a Che Adams cracker in the first half. They looked lively throughout and maybe should have added to it but ultimately the single goal was enough.
Let's see if Sky Sports YouTube channel will upload a million videos about today's Man United match......

I fully expected them to have a two hour post match discussion on the problems at Spurs like they did on Sunday….

West Ham seem to be playing some fantastic football with a swagger about them.

A fourth successive loss for Villa, thought they were playing OK until the sending off.

Daniel Farke has not won any of his past 20 top-flight matches - since a 1-0 victory over Leicester on 28 February 2020. Andrew Omobamidele's header against Leeds was only their third league goal of the campaign.

They have not scored more than once in any of their past 28 top-flight games and at the other end of the pitch, Norwich have lost their past 33 Premier League matches when conceding the first goal.

Nuno sacked.

Never a great sign when he was their 9th choice to replace Moruinho but even I thought he'd get a little bit longer. Hardly a disaster where they are in the table. Not ideal thought when Kane clearly can't be bothered this season.

I think Nuno will be better off away from Tottenham in the long run. It feels like people wanted him out from the get go, really they're just on a bad run of form. They were top of the table after the first 3 matches and are now only 5 points off the top 4 with 10 games played. Not sure what the board of that club were expecting from this season to make this decision.
I don't think Spurs were in that bad a position considering he was way down the pecking order for choice and came in late. It was a bizzarre appointment in the first place to be honest. Seems like they will probably go all-in for Conte now you would imagine? Think the problem with Nuno is he'd got himself in to a bit of a rut and he didn't know how to get out of it. The bigger problem they have there is not selling Kane in the summer, standard Levy behaviour.

Conte looking good for Spurs, which is good as it means he won't be coming to us.

To be fair, he's a manager who'd actually have the balls to drop Kane.

Can't see him dropping Kane, who else have they got? I'm not sure Kane has downed tools like most people think he has, I think his head is just not there and Nuno wasn't the right coach to re-focus him. Sounds like Spurs pulled the plug on Nuno to get Conte. Heard some rumours that Conte is only flirting with Spurs to see if it forces Man Utd's hand.. doesn't appear that way anymore. Long live Ole!

I think Kane has definitely downed tools, doesn't want to be at the club that's clear and didn't get his ticket to City in the summer. What's his motivation anymore?

Would be strange considering all the club has done for him!

Mr Gud Ebening coming back? Hell yeah. Not sure why he' want to leave Villareal for Newcastle though (as badly as their doing this season so far).
No doubt Conte will end up like the other managers at Tottenham. They are a sacking club after all.

Not sure, he is a really good manager, but an 18 month contract just seems really dodgy. He must easily be the 3rd highest paid manager in the league you would expect. I think it's more likely he gets tapped up to go somewhere else than Spurs firing him.

Emery to Newcastle is a mad one too. Not sure he's the manager they need to keep them up..
