September 11, 20213 yr Ugh United fans are gonna be awful to listen to this season, come on City and Chelsea!!
September 11, 20213 yr Apparently not! @1436738148718071810 Giggs is still United’s oldest prem goal scorer
September 11, 20213 yr Was gonna try and find that picture of Keane face when he was like ‘No Giggsy’??
September 12, 20213 yr Teddy Sheringham has the record for oldest PL hat trick and he was nearly a year older than Ronaldo, so it might be technically the oldest brace, but also a slightly misleading stat!
September 12, 20213 yr Ugh United fans are gonna be awful to listen to this season, come on City and Chelsea!! Yes of course they are - and no offence to the many Utd fans in here - but the fanbase are massive sellouts. Massive media attention, one of the Glazers in attendance and guess what.. not a single protest in sight  It was never about the Glazers really, it was about not winning things and signings.
September 12, 20213 yr Teddy Sheringham has the record for oldest PL hat trick and he was nearly a year older than Ronaldo, so it might be technically the oldest brace, but also a slightly misleading stat! I was thinking of Teddy too as he was class for West Ham until he was 39! But as you say it’s a misleading stat as I didn’t think of the fact someone older may have scored a hattrick
September 12, 20213 yr Why would fans protest on a day like yesterday? club legend returns and scores twice on his 2nd debut in a 4-1 win. If wanting the team to win makes us sellouts then we're happy to be that. Also Liverpool fans were an ABSOLUTE JOY to listen to 2-3 seasons ago
September 12, 20213 yr Considering I had waited all my life (38 years) to see my team finally win a league title I was much more restrained than I would have been in my teens, I was quietly satisfied. Yous have been without a league title for 8 years and it’s like football is dead or something! All we are doing is highlighting the hypocrisy of the fans in their actions last season. September 12, 20213 yr There was glazer out chants during the match but that’s a pesky fact that doesn’t suit your agenda not to mention that there was a special event somewhat taking importance for a single match. That the fanbase still wants rid of the nasty leaches from Florida is wildly known and accepted as fact. Apologies for our fans not storming the pitch and cancelling Cristianos homecoming but at least you still got to have a moan at United fans for not doing something you would have moaned about had they done it. #HatedAdoredNeverIgnored

Most media attention on a game, which was the exact same rationale for doing it against Liverpool, to hurt the owners pockets. First time one of the Glazers is at a game in 2 years too - the absolute perfect opportunity if we're applying the same logic. Like Steve says, we're merely pointing out the hypocrisy. Fans are well within their right to be happy but I've got zero sympathy the next time anyone moans about how the Glazers are destorying Man Utd. The protests were not about your owners, they were about signings and not challenging for the league. Can't have the cake and eat it.

First time a Glazer is there and so much media attention, can't have the cake and eat it. You fans will only moan against the Owners when it suits the agenda and there's a game against Liverpool. If your fans wanted rid so badly, yesterday was the perfect opportunity.
September 12, 20213 yr Liverpool should be more concerned about Leeds tbh and what Dan James & Co might do to them today!
September 12, 20213 yr Liverpool should be more concerned about Leeds tbh and what Dan James & Co might do to them today! I'm not in the slightest bit concerned, it's only one game. Leeds played us off the park in the 2nd half at Elland Road last year, but at least we have CBs this season. I've only seen the highlights of yesterdays game from Utd, but everything that I suspected would happen with Utd, happened. Only pisses me off because the protest could have so easily derailed Liverpool's season last year. An opportunity to protest was too good to be missed, but everyone was so far up Ronaldo's backside nobody can even see the hypocrisy. Could have had 90 minutes making the most out of getting the Glazers out of the club and making it uncomfortable for him. The next time those green and gold scarves come out the rest of the league will be laughing. And to top it all off, the club even invited Giggs along for the ride too in the exec box and didn't even bother to hide him out of the way, absolutely bonkers.

I am just pointing out the nature of the fan base and how they change opinions so quickly. It seems the facts about wanting rid of the Glazers only matters when it suits so is it a fact at all….I’m not sure sometimes.

Liverpool ended up winning the match when it got played and finished in the top 4. They got what they wanted. Not that Liverpool's best interests should be Man Utd's focus anyway. Besides Ronaldo is an old man who is not the same as 10 years ago so therefore by that logic shouldn't be a threat or a problem to anyone.
