Which of the "rent-a-rappers" verse is your favourite and least favourite? Not necessarily your favourite song, but who turned up and showed out for their verse?

Feel free to do a ranking!

It was close between NMSS and Power but I think Machine Gun Kelly’s just beats out Stomzys so went for that.

The abomination that is the touch remix is easily the worst. Whoever passed off on that needs to be sacked.

I think for me it goes:

01. Saweetie

02. Sean Paul

03. Machine Gun Kelly

04. Stormzy

05. Missy Elliott

---

06. Ty Dolla $ign

07. Kid Ink

That top 5 is all so good. The problem for Missy for me is that I rarely ever go back to HYD much (but when I do it's always Missy's single version!) I feel like Saweetie smashed it out of the park though and feels like the most seamless and flawless fit on a single remix they've done, to date? Her verse is incredible. I get a lot of fun and enjoyment out of the other 4 in my top 5. MGK rap is SO fun to rap along to!

TD$ was a pointless addition. Bleh. Kid Ink... well there's a reason why that one never took off... HORRENDOUS.

1. Saweetie

2. Sean Paul

3. Missy Elliott

4. Stormzy

5. Machine Gun Kelly

6. Ty Dolla Sign

7. Kid Ink

01. Stormzy (Power)

02. Saweetie (Confetti)

03. Sean Paul (Hair)

04. Machine Gun Kelly (No More Sad Songs)

05. Missy Elliott (How Ya Doin')

06. Ty Dolla $ign (Think About Us)

07. Kid Ink (Touch)

That resounding last place for 'Touch' :deadbanana:

Best: MGK

Worst: Kid Ink :puke2: (I remember hearing a version that had his rap after the first chorus and Jesy's verse replaced the bridge)

01. Stormzy (Power)

02. Saweetie (Confetti)

03. Machine Gun Kelly (No More Sad Songs)

04. Sean Paul (Hair)

05. Missy Elliott (How Ya Doin')

06. Ty Dolla $ign (Think About Us)

07. Kid Ink (Touch)

1. Missy Elliott (she brought the fun factor, the single mix of How Ya Doin'? in general is SO criminally underrated and Missy's a big part of what makes it so good)

2. Saweetie (like this a lot, and the next two as well)

3. Stormzy

4. Sean Paul

5. Ty Dolla $ign (fine but unremarkable)

6. Kid Ink (I remember not liking it but that's literally it, I don't ever play this version of Touch )

7. Machine Gun Kelly (always found this very clunky and not very good at all)

Since when do people actually like the MGK verse on 'No More Sad Songs'...? :')

I can't say any of these are really that memorable tbh but I voted for Stormzy as my fave, I'm not a fan of 'Power' as a song overall but the Stormzy verse did improve it a bit at least. Obviously Kid Ink is the worst. Saweetie on 'Confetti' is fairly good too but not exactly an essential part of it.

1 Missy (She elevated the hell out of How Ya Doin) I remember not being thrilled when it was announced as a single but once I heard the new version with Missy and all the new little bits added in I was sold an done a complete U turn .

2 Saweetie

3 Stormzy

4 Sean Paul

5 MGK

6 Ty Dolla Sign

7 Kid Ink (I think I listened to this once and never went back) the most pointless remix by far .

I'll also give Missy props for elevating How Ya Doin' :cheeseblock: Saweetie verse is a close second.

Last is Kid Ink on Touch... that remix, from his contribution to the way it was constructed... noooope!
