Just seen that 'Clash' has managed to chart at #93 on the global chart, Dave's third song to make the global chart and the first that isn't a collab with either Drake or Ed Sheeran :lol: The UK and Ireland are still the only countries where it's charted particularly highly but it has also charted in several other European countries (Denmark, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway & Sweden) plus Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and even #178 in Canada. No sign of it in the US though of course.

 

'Motley Crew' is up to #44 on Apple, has continued to climb fairly quickly while other new releases have slowed down or started dropping, wouldn't be surprised if it climbs in its second day on Spotify.

Dave & Stormzy off to a big start is expected but pleasing. Just a shame that Ed and Olivia are still doing huge numbers or it'd have been a convincing #1, I just hope they manage to hold up well throughout the week now.

 

Raye now starting to make big gains on Apple is great to see too, hopefully Call On Me manages to blossom into at least a minor top 40 hit a la Regardless, but it'll again have to overcome the hurdle of a lack of Spotify support. Rain Radio firmly in Apple's top 40 and re-peaking on Spotify is also great news and bodes well for them climbing into this week's official top 40.

 

The new Post Malone song isn't that great compared to what I'd have expected from a comeback of his but still the comparatively very slow start its had so far is quite the surprise. I'm sure it'll manage to chart top 40 anyhow but I wonder how quickly it'll either get retconned as a buzz track, or just end up being a proper hit anyway. A bit unfortunate for Sam Fender that his streams are fairly evenly split between the edit and full version, as combined he'd be top 50 and actually ahead of Posty on Spotify. I'm yet to hear the song to decide if that's a good thing or not. Can't say I'm excited about the prospect of a Kid Laroi/Justin Bieber collaboration being a big hit either but likewise I haven't listened to it yet. It can hardly be worse than Without You at least, I suspect.
