For this week's episode, the queens star in adverts in teams to promote their side hustle, but who will come out on top?

Deserving winner! The whole of that team did a great job and it could have gone to Pandora or even Yara tbh.

 

Right bottom group too and if they’re going by teams it made sense to put Ginger down there too tbh. It was deffo Akeria vs Silky though and it was actually a shame to see Silky go as she seemed to be so in her head and nervous about her reception :(

 

Fabulous lipsync and the fact we’ve had 3 Dua lipsyncs in 6 months (and possibly a fourth one later this year) gets me super happy as such a fan of her and seeing Laganja back was a JOY

 

But god am I excited for next week

I found that the weakest of the 3 episodes so far by quite some way, but still solid. I would actually say the two I'm liking the least are Trinity and Jan. Jan is nice enough but I'm having the same problem with her as I always have, she's giving 110% calculated perfection to the point where it's cold, you don't get the humanity or nuances it's just the same level. I think she's just one of those queens I'll never "get", I am so bored of her. Trinity isn't like full on villain but I feel like she's coming across as quite unlikeable with her attitude at times, particularly towards Yara which I feel is just because of week 1's lipstick. And really, given what was shown episode 1, Yara was perfectly within her rights to choose Trinity for elimination there. Idk if she has really grown in confidence or if it's bravado and the insecurity is still there, that's what it kinda feels like to me.

 

Not sure I'd have given Trinity the win over Pandora, or even Yara, tbh, to me it kinda felt like they did it for the storyline of Laganja/Trinity? They did all do well in that team though, seamless and really funny commercial. The bottom team was right too and I do think Ginger did notably better, but when it's a team challenge to make a commercial it is kinda down to all of them to iron it out and make sure it isn't a mess, and they had way too much going on. It wasn't BAD but none of it stood out or popped because they had so many ideas going on. Eureka did great too and had it been individual, I think she could have challenged for the win.

 

Had I judged individually I'd probs have gone:

 

WIN: Pandora

High: Yara, Trinity, Eureka

Safe: Ra'Jah, Kylie, Scarlet, Ginger

Low: Jan

Bottom 2: A'keria, Silky

 

I actually... kinda feel bad for Silky in a way? I think she was right to go this week but it is kind of a shame that she muted herself so much and it was because of the hate she got from the show. I know she was unbearable on S11, but nobody deserves the hate the fans give queens. However, I am not really sad to see her go, boring Silky was anyday preferable to what we got on S11. I'm dead though Ru was PISSED that Silky went :rofl:

 

Trinity was good in the lipsync but Laganja ATE her up. I really hope she does All Stars ASAP now she is her true self and seems so much happier!

 

I'm hyped for next week, potentially this could be up there with the Madonna Rusical as a great one.

Trinity is giving a bizarre energy across the episodes so far and I’m kind of living for it? It’s quite Valentina in that I’m kind of confused what’s going on but entertained nonetheless.

I was expecting like... polished Miss Congeniality vibes so I guess I just wasn't expecting anything like this :lol:

So just finished watching this.... it says something about this episode that it made me sad that Silky went. Its a shame that she came back and felt she had to be muted to the extent that she was. But given Season 11, I guess she didn't want a repeat of the backlash.

 

Personally I would've chosen A'Keria to go as she has been so beige and middle of the road these 3 episodes. Silky may not have been great this episode, but I think she showed skills in the first ep and to be honest she said she had muted herself and had more to give. A'Keria.... there is just nothing really there.

 

The episode itself - the winning team was kinda obvious - Ra'Jah continues to slay this competition! Trinity was good as was the whole of that team really. Trinity feels like a odd one this series - I like her alot in some moments, in others not so much.

 

Scarlet, Kylie and Eureka worked well together -I hope Kylie does come out of herself more. The other team were ok, Ginger was the standout and Jan did an ok job.

 

 

 

Loving this season tbh. They have landed the voting this time around so it feels more a source of drama/discussion instead of where the queens all bully each other into voting the same way. This group is really good too.

 

Writing was on the wall for Silky. Not loving Trinity so far but her runway was good this week. That group was very lucky to win as imo they are the weakest on balance except for RaJah.

 

Don't understand what issue Ru and co have with Jan when they at least helped Rose - who I think is one level down in almost every way - all the way to the final in season 13. Anything Rose can do, Jan can do with better runways. Having said that, she hasn't had a killer moment this season apart from her song in E1.

 

I would have given this week's win to either Pandora or Ra'Jah again.

Agreed! She’s deffo talented but she’s not been the standout queen in any challenge for me over her two series. She was close in the Madonna Rusical but for me Crystal, Jaida, Widow and Gigi were stronger :(

Idk I have a big Jan bias. She deserved that Rusical win if nothing else and in episode 1 she should've been top 2. Then if she had two top placements under her belt by the time she hit the ad challenge she might not have B2'd and the later challenges that season were way more in her wheelhouse (makeover, the hosting challenge, the vegas challenge)

 

That said, she hasn't had as strong a run in this AllStars in my opinion.

I did think Akeria, Silky and Jan were the worst this ep with Akeria being the worst overall imo. Sad to see Silky go although she’s not slayed it she has shown a lovely softer side but it’s a shame the ‘fans’ wore he personality down so much.

I don't even hate Jan I just hate the fans' reaction, feels like no matter what she does she is "robbed" and like... all I get from her is a generic gay Drag Race fan wondered onto set accidentally and this fan also happens to be a Rachel Berry theatre major :lol:

I really enjoyed the episode. I thought Pandora should've won over Trinity, although I'm happy Trinity won.

 

Am I the only one who thought Jan was on par with Silky and A'keria overall? Their runways were better and I didn't think Jan's performance in the acting challenge was that good. Silky would've likely done better had she been given a decent amount of lines. I was sad to see Silky go this episode - I was hoping this season would give her a really good redemption arc.

 

 

I mean... every queen that has gone so far will surely at least be back for one episode since they are doing some kind of return twist, right?

I was sad to see silky go but I guess by track record of low-safe-btm4 it had to be her sadly. Its a shame the fans had mad her to scared to be who she is. I actually didnt mind how she was on s11 because that seemed to be who she was and could be entertaining.

 

In terms of winner I actually agreed trinity did the best (based judging on teams). Her role was so fun to be so anti what the service is haha. If individual i woulda had her, eureka and ginger top with eureka winning tbh.

I don’t think it was a murder at all I thought it was a really really solid fight from Trinity. It was no Kahmora Hall or Kenya Michaels: they were murders!

I love how Kylie's aesthetic so far has been "let's take a bunch of pop stars, put em in a blender and see what comes out" :P

 

Laganja's entire stint has been the highlight of this season so far, I had been waiting for an appearance from her since we got a 6th All Stars and she did not disappoint *.*
