Round 15

 

Leaving us in 5th place is the female empowering ANTHEM 'Salute'. A song that seems to be soundbed in a LOT of TV. 'Salute' managed to become a huge hit for the girls after a shocking under performance of their Sport Relief single 'Word Up!' (by under performance I mean - a lot expected that to be a fleeting top 10 hit as opposed to a non-top 5 one). It got them and their careers right back on track mainly thanks to a stellar performance of it on Britain's Got Talent. The video was the perfect kind of video that was needed for the song. Dark, grungy, choreo heavy... excellent!

Break Up Song is my least favourite song of the era, let alone in this list - I'm honestly baffled how it's beaten out so many Little Mix classics, but beating out Power would be a step too far.
Hmmm this is tough. I went with BUS. I love all the songs.
