July 8, 20213 yr I think I spy enough people in this semi that my niche might appeal to so not feeling entirely doomed yet. (I do have a good track record of qualifying with instrumentals aside from poor brave Orphic Oxtra so hopefully I should be good x) Think this is one of the more obscure songs I have ever sent, having only a little over 6k plays between YouTube and Spotify in 10 months - iirc I discovered Japanese Television by browsing UNKLE's Spotify profile and seeing they did a remix of one of their other songs.

July 9, 20213 yr Author Updated the rules in both semis! Every entry is there on the Spotify playlist, Aeroche (for this semi, same as for Tartford in the other), the base song wasn't there but the version I used seems like it's the same as the video so check that that's the correct one.

July 10, 20213 yr I spy the old Rufus/Chaka Khan USA hit Tell me Something Good, a Stevie Wonder song he gave away. And that's the only song I recognise (apart from Motiv 8 which still sounds fab). There are a few in the other semi....

Hopefully not, it definitely doesn't deserve to break your streak, it was a highlight for me! I probably preferred this semi to the other overall, with eight songs I ranked 9/10 or more, compared to six in Semi 1. The pop is really hitting the mark for me this month in both semis.
