Hey guys! IT'S BACK!

 

AF IDOL is returning again and we have 24 hours to decide on a track to send for round 1.

 

It's a free Choice round and the mods have a had a wee discussion and we decided that Never Really Over would be a good first song to send. Of course we want your input!

 

Anyway, that's what we're thinking but anything you think would be better suited, you can leave in here or just leave your thoughts about Never Really Over.

 

There are ten rounds and no eliminations for the first five rounds at which point the lower half of the AF'S with the lowest average score will be eliminated. Thinking about future rounds though, this is probably our best shot.

 

Rob, Troublepink & I, will make the final decision but please let us know what you're thinking!

Firework for a choice at some point.

I think we want to include and will maybe include Firework. It's one that I think would do well too! My only concern with it is that it's been so done that, that could potentially backfire.

Currently, Katy Perry after round 1, is sitting in 9th place 🎉🎉 I'll have suggestions for the next round up soon!

So we've had a chat and we think Walking On Air would be a good choice. Of course we want your input!

 

The round is Album track and the song must not have been pushed as a single.

'Walking On Air' is of course the obvious (her best album track) choice... but if you wanted to go for something a bit riskier (depends how comfortable you are with 9th place last time and whether you think the following 3 rounds will be enough to get you through) I would probably suggest 'Self Inflicted', 'Hummingbird Heartbeat' (I can't remember if this gets counted as a single or not), 'Legendary Lovers', 'Roulette', 'Cry About It Later', 'Teary Eyes' or 'Not the End of The World'

 

'Walking On Air' is my fave and although I'm not as fond of it as others seem to be, I think 'Legendary Lovers' could be an excellent choice for you.

Walking on Air would likely succeed for the forum, definitely a single that got away!
