I do think it’s a bit unfair for people that genuinely enjoy this song and still like Jesy (I know it’s a rare few on here now) to feel like they can’t really post too much about it on here . Like I get people will obviously have an opinion on what’s going on right now but certain comments just feel negative for the sake of being negative about her and almost wanting to see her fail while not really discussing the song .

i'm all for people having their own opinions but at this moment i cannot think of a legit reason to like or even enjoy Jesy

 

no one is saying that they cannot express their positive opinions of her/her music but her thread(s) is just going to be full of people also giving their negative opinion of her.

I feel this was the case right up until the live last night. I can see why people are angry at her and the whole situation to be honest even if I don’t agree with it.

I get that completely but I just feel like people have wanted to see her fail before last night even happened and even before the song even came out . I do agree and think it probably is best this topic is moved out of the Little Mix forum also .

In my opinion certain comments have not been strictly about the song more so comments about Jesy personally with what's been going on outside of the song and how's she's supposedly going to flop with her next single etc and almost rooting for Boyz to do bad because of it . I'm not saying people can't express there dislike for the song (I personally initially wasn't a big fan of the song either) but I just think comments in this particular thread should strictly be more about the song not just another thread to bash her . Maybe it will hopefully and eventually cool down though.

Jesy has sold just under 16.7k overall so far (over 2.2k CDs).

 

There seems to be a problem in the midweeks regarding her video streams - they're extremely low. She only has 21,085 video streams attached to her sales. According to the midweek data she's not even in the Top 100 most viewed videos of the week! My theory is that only her official audio video streams have been counted, and that for some reason the music video isn't attached to the data. I wonder if Polydor haven't noticed? This could be costing her hundreds of sales :o

I’ve not heard a single person talk about this situation in the real world, the song isn’t being removed from radio stations and life goes on. So I do wonder how much the GP is actually aware of this situation.

I’m so returning this CD out of principle.

I for one was giving the song a few streams a day until last night and now I've removed it and I'm sure plenty of other people have so she's definitely going to be suffering commercially even if it's just losing support from Buzzjack, Popjustice and Twitter. :lol:

It's not like many people on those places were actually supporting her in the first place, especially on PJ, that whole thread is basically a 'I hate Jesy' one, from the get go they wanted her to be attacked. I've genuinely never saw such horrible comments before, it was worse than ATRL and that was before this mess even happened.

 

Like I said before, please can we allow this one single thread to be a place where people that actually are a fan of the song can speak.

People were discussing the songs performance in the charts, you then said you didn't think the GP were aware of the drama and I pointed out that it was on national news and you've turned it round and acted like a victim again.

It's up to #16 on Spotify, normally I would predict it being top 10 on Spotify next week but I can see Adele taking over a lot of the top 50! She's got this amount of songs that high without a single yet and I'm sure she will get playlists dedicated to her etc too.
