It’s really early for her to be doing these kind of gigs. everyone is pretty much over her or intensely dislikes her. I know there’s still stans but I think this may be a bad situation

 

Yeah, I mean, they should move on to figuring out how the hell they're going to turn this project around with single #2. Boyz seems pretty dead in the water right now and with all huge new releases coming in the next few weeks + Christmas songs I don't think it's going to recover at this rate. I'd just hit a bit of a pause until the New Year at least (Boyz is going to sell what it's going to sell with or without Jesy out there at this point) and then figure out how to approach single #2 without it being too obvious/desperate of an image overhaul.

Eeek, that's not going to go down very well I fear.

I hope she doesn't get boo'ed but I can see it happening to be fair.

 

She should have waited until the summertime ball so that she could have more songs out before performing.

I doubt people will actually care enough to boo her. I hope they wouldn't do that.

I think her next single will come in January, it's rumoured to be a ballad called 'Heartbreak Hotel' and the producers of it teased the song on their stories last week when the article came out where Jesy mentioned that song. Unless they've changed their mind about that next single as Jesy did that interview a couple of months ago.

Has the Norton performance done anything for the song?

 

Nope. Was down to 29 in the midweek update. Might be bumped up about three or so spots because Halloween songs are leaving the charts by the end of the week.

I've been to the Summertime / Jingle Bell Balls before, artists usually do a couple of songs but last time I went, they had Regard... who did Ride It solo and then Ride It with Jay Sean arriving to sing over the top! :lol: Young T & Bugsey were slated to perform but their only song was Strike a Pose, and that was during Aitch's (3 song) set lol.

I pretty much stick by what I have said from the start with Jesy; she is striking while the iron's hot and making as much money/notoriety as she can, knowing that unless she was the first to jump ship, she'd be unlikely to.

 

For that reason I absolutely see her doing as many solo gigs as possible, Capital etc. despite the reception/reactions, because she will be getting well-paid and getting her name out there from them.

I think the same, plus she might make new fans from some of the GP!

 

I get why she's still pushing, hoping she covers another song just so there is more than just one performance!

 

I also don't get why they didn't upload the Norton performance, I get there was backlash but wouldn't the views go towards the songs sales? (let me know if i'm completely wrong)

A cover would be a good business decision to show range. Although covering a song from a black artist would not be a good look so I hope she dodges that.
Charts at #28 this week, its 4th week in the chart.

 

will probably manage one more week probably but will be between 36-45.

seems to have peaked on us radio as already losing 10% in plays in comparison to last week
