Really bad playlisting for Drake even in the US and nothing in the UK, maybe it will update but anyway nothing big. Really weird. Girls wants Girls that's the song they are pushing anyway.

weird there are no Drake tracks on NMF...

he's #1 now on Today's Top Hits though, HH hasn't updated yet today

Is Drake cling himself a lesbian in the single?

I thought it would impossible for his voice to be more monotonous, but it was actually possible...

LMAO first JLS single in the best part of a decade not to mention the first release from global megastars ABBA in 40 YEARS and they don't top NMF!

Are they okay?

That cheque from Riton’s label must have been pretty hefty

you could've googled the lyrics to find that out for yourself :P but yes

[Chorus: Drake]

Starin' at your dress 'cause it's see through

Yeah, talkin' all the shit that you done been through

Yeah, say that you a lesbian, girl, me too

Ayy, girls want girls where I'm from

Wait, woah, yeah, girls want girls

Woah, yeah, woah, yeah, girls want girls where I'm from

Oh, yeah, yeah, girls want girls where

Ayy, woah, girls want girls where I'm from, ayy

bait for TikTok I guess, only way he can get a #1 again with the massive quality drop in his music lately

Given some of the absolute nobodies on there you'd think there's be room for one Drake song.

ABBA not being no 1 is insanity.

Drake now added as track #1 on NMF (late release I guess) with the Right Said Fred sampling song

which has also been insta added to HH... the song added to TTH is another one though...

besides Drake/Right Said Fred, HH also added Riton & Raye, Mentis-Excuses and Maisie Peters-Psycho

Kanye is the cover of HH

Now they added and weirdly they are pushing Way 2Sexy in the UK as the first song in NMF. Girls wants Girls is 14.

Yeah, a mess

Don't Let Me Down doing (marginally) better on Apple of the two ABBA songs (not a huge shock, considering it's shorter and probably closer to their big streaming classics - so any casual streamers will be more likely to repeat [even with the other track being track 1 and a much higher NMD playlist placement)

Oh come on… and the millionth remake of I’m Too Sexy as well you say?

1/10 for effort Drake, must try harder.

we can always mock Desperate Ed

but at least he's not covering Right Said Fred

or using bait for the tiktok generation (worked for that Toosie Slide thing though)

The NMF yet again treating rock like shite. Days of Future Past listed for Maiden - seemingly purely because it's 4 minutes long - there's far better tracks on the album.
Surely the label can decide what is the NMF track...

If the label have chose that, they're idiots.

I know they're hardly going to be streaming smash hits but ABBA being as low as 11th and 30th on New Music Friday feels a little bizarre.

Below Sam Ryder, Riton and M Huncho among others...ok. Only probably the biggest musical comeback ever.

not surprising though, thats how Spotify treats (or rather mis-treats) every comeback from any artist over 40 :/

Sad but true. It just feels jarring of Spotify (also Swedish, would be nice if they'd support their own on this occasion!) to try and underplay something as big as this and just randomly plop the songs in the middle of the playlist.

Surely it would help Spotify's subscriptions (especially with the older generations who they are trying to win over more of) to have the songs and artists with the most hype and curiosity around them at the top of these playlists. They feel so randomly thrown together sometimes that you may as well listen on shuffle and not go for the premium tier package.

at least ABBA is doing something on Amazon
