September 3, 20213 yr A number of exciting releases this week. Looking forward to seeing how things develop. ABBA rightfully at the top, definitely the most exciting music story for the week.
September 3, 20213 yr JLS really did pick the worst time to release, first release in 8 years could've been a big story if not for Abba coming back after 39 years in the same week :lol:
September 3, 20213 yr Best release week for some time from a pop fan perspective! Love the JLS song as it sounds like you are going back in time, hopefully does well! Enjoy the two Abba songs as well, will be interesting to see how both groups do! Bit disappointed in the Little Mix song, especially after the excellent ‘Sweet Melody’ last year. Charli XCX probably my favourite of the week, she cannot do. I wrong in my eyes but won’t get the commercial success as usual.

It’s odd that there is so much willing investment into his music career, of his 25 releases only 3 have gone Top 75 - the biggest reaching #62! The return on investment must be zero and it’s not like he is selling 100s of tour dates and merch to pull in revenue from elsewhere?
September 3, 20213 yr Yeah it is pretty bizarre that HRVY is still going, especially with his album being cancelled last year too. What I find more surprising though is why he hasn't had a hit yet - he's got all the ingredients and a very commercial sound, so I don't get why none of his releases have clicked with the public.
