It’s a bonafide classic that people still love today but there have been many incarnations of varying listenability and the Guetta track is crap. They should’ve gone with either ‘Thinking About You’ or ‘Someone For Me’ (both from Houston’s debut album and both uptempo) but would’ve sounded like something new. That’s why Higher Love was a success as it wasn’t a well know track of hers (only ever released in Japan).

Let’s see how well this is received.

Difference being Higher Love is a well known song, just that her version of it wasn't.

If they had to do something recognisable, they could have done It's Not Right But It's OK instead of this which Guetta literally just remade.

yeah, I'd actually take the Guetta version over this.

Clean Bandit have really lost their way in the past few years which is so sad.

It's genuinely sad to see what they've become. The fact they released the music they did to...this...yeah, it's just sad.

This is diabolical, so non-descript and strips every last bit of joy and soul from the original
I think this works far better than I was expecting from the comments - it’s nothing groundbreaking but it rightfully keeps Queen Whitney at the forefront of the track.
This is really bad, I thought the Guetta version was bad but this is far worse!

they were asked to remix this from RCA

We were truly thrilled and honoured to be asked to remix the legend Whitney Houston’s ‘How Will I Know’. It was a bit of a pinch me moment, actually, and we loved every moment of the process of making it. We did everything in our ability to retain the integrity of the original track and Whitney’s out-of-this-world vocal, whilst creating an update for everyone to hopefully enjoy all over again! We will be donating all our income from the remix to Mind, a mental health charity doing incredible work.
