What's happening with this?

Last couple of weeks of this seem to have been a bit of a flop. Is it worth finishing it in the new year now?

Sorry for the lack of communication, been busy with other forum things… I was waiting on dandy* to post the Album Cover quiz, I don’t know if Pete has any more information?

I thought it had been agreed in this thread that both were going ahead at the same time? We'd be okay with that if that's been decided!

Ok then well if dandy isn’t able to host his quiz and jimwatts has one more prepared to go, then I suggest he runs his and make it the final week of the chart season?

I think we ought to hear from dandy* about this. It's his quiz that's been in the schedule.

I think it’s probably for the best tbh - I only really volunteered because I felt bad that the schedule wasn’t full and, as is often the case with me, I haven’t actually had the time to put something together. Sorry to be a let down, I should have known better than to offer but sometimes good intentions get the better of me

My Pointless quiz has some questions about things which have charted in 2021 (so far), so it needs to be aligned to a chart week really to make it fair to early entrants. I can either post it this weekend with a Christmas Eve deadline - but then I wouldn't be able to do the results until the 28th - or I can post it on Christmas Eve with a New Year's Eve deadline, then results sometime the following Bank Holiday weekend. Obviously it's over Christmas either way, so can anyone suggest which would be better? If neither is ideal, I'll wait until New Year's Eve to post it instead.

I can always throw another Quick Fire Quiz together?

Thank you to Pete and Wardy for running this series, and to all the other quiz hosts. It's been welcome to have these nuggets of fun/challenge to give us different ways of looking at music and the charts, but if there is another series I won't set out to defend my title as what's most important is to have something people can engage in, and that for me has been the real highlight, so thanks to everyone who took part for making it what it is B-)
