In my first post where I said about some of the questionable choices, as you can see by my ranking that 'Better Than Today' & 'Where Is The Feeling' are the weakest choices, especially the former, where literaly anything else on 'Aphrodite' would have been better - my personal choices 'Put Your Hands Up', 'Aphrodite' & 'Cupid Boy' were right there for the taking.

As for the latter 'WITF', again there were far better choices, but in all honesty this wasn't a terrible choice, it just didn't stand a chance, given the 8 month break between singles & that horrible single remix it was given. Maybe if it got released earlier in the year around March/April '95, like originally planned & in its original form, then it could fared much better & we could have had another single in the summer 'Time Will Pass You By', that could have given this era more life.

I think I remember an interview where Kylie said it became a running joke - "Where is the single", "Where is the video".

 

I found the single remix "interesting". I'm sure they must have been a little bit influenced by Madonna's spoken breathy verses from a couple of her songs. It just didn't quite work somehow for WITF.

 

Good to see others voting for what do i have to do, its such as Kylie classic but maybe overlooked a little as better the devil you know is the song everyone remembers from that album, with such strong singles as its always hard for songs to stand out.

While I didnt vote for it myself its good to see chocolate getting votes, I do really like the song and it's a song that is often overlooked.

Better Than Today

Kids and Better Than Today are both songs I appear to enjoy more than many others voting.

Better Than Today is a song I believe we will never see Kylie performing again, Kids does need a break from her tour performances as it has prominence for too many tours.
