Although I feel like the circumstances are so different, what with it being a revival of an 80s hit recorded when she was in her 20s, rather than it being a brand new recording like Padam Padam. May 27, 20232 yr Top 10 would just be the icing on the cake. Honestly if you had told me Kylie would be charting better than Madonna in the 2020's I would never have believed you, she really has cemented herself as the ultimate 'legacy' female act in the UK.
May 27, 20232 yr ^^ This even as a lifelong fan and hardcore collector I never thought id see a Kylie single take off again unless she got lucky with a feature or an old song going viral. The best I ever hope and pray for with each single is if she can snatch a week at #39, the fact this is looking like it’s turning into an actual hit outside of her core fanbase is incredible.
