October 11, 20214 yr I hope elton and dua can hold on.those album sales are bad apart from Sam Fender. Edited October 11, 20214 yr by Feel_The_Fever
October 11, 20214 yr Just bought a 59p download of Cold Heart on Amazon to help the cause, would be great to have Elton at #1 again. Those 99p signed CDs are going for a fortune on ebay :(
October 11, 20214 yr Looks like Bryan Adams will be keeping the consecutive-weeks-by-artist record no-one realised he had until a month or two ago! I think it's more a case of nobody really giving it much thought. It was only because Ed Sheeran looked like having a chance of beating it that it became something of interest.

October 11, 20214 yr Is there some missing (physical) sales in the album chart? I haven't checked James Blake's first week sales with his other albums, but less than 2k seems terrible so far.
October 11, 20214 yr 'Assume Form' did 6.2k in its first week (it was #6 even in the first mids so no sales provided for it then but #5 had 3.6k). So it looks like his sales are going to be dropping off a bit but they weren't great to begin with sadly.
October 11, 20214 yr Omg Adele up to 12 in midweeks with 25 after just a single announcement! Imagine when she actually drops the new album
October 11, 20214 yr Kylie with Years and Years having a midweek Top 75 placement after a Wednesday release is a great surprise.
October 11, 20214 yr Interesting that 'Someone Like You' is somehow Adele's highest song (and actually reasonably far ahead of 'When We Were Young') despite the latter being her highest song on both Spotify and Apple. Didn't know that Bieber's 'Ghost' was in the running to enter the top 100 this week but glad to see it, it along with 'Hold On' and 'Anyone' are easily the best songs from this era so would be cool if it can at least be a minor post-album hit (not expecting too much as 'Company' only got back to the low 50s when pushed as a post-album single from the 'Purpose' era, though it had a top 40 peak from when the album dropped).
October 11, 20214 yr Oh go on then, I’ll buy Cold Heart  I like both songs about an equal amount but what a great story it would be for Elton to get a Number 1 at his age, Dua to get another with one of the most unexpected smashes of the year and for Ed to finally vacate No.1.
October 11, 20214 yr oh was expecting higher sales for Sam Fender but sales seems lower than I've ever seen for a Mon update 2K for #2 seems weird, is maybe data missing?
October 11, 20214 yr Someone Like You is #47 on Amazon while When We Were Young is #95, so that's probably why the former is higher in the mids. Adele currently has 7 of the top 100 there (Hello is 9th highest at #125).
October 11, 20214 yr There is a lot of data missing for Sam Fender, vinyl albums and singles are held up at customs along with cassettes. All items on his website are now listed as ‘coming soon’ - I’m still waiting for around 75% of my order. View this post on Instagram
October 11, 20214 yr Cmon Elton ! Sad Måneskin aren’t top 40 and are likely to drop further throughout the week, hope it has a climb and not peak week 1!
October 11, 20214 yr I hope Sam has a good number of bundles from his store still to be added! Such a solid record!
