I've seen many POC defend Jesy online too, it's definitely a mixed bag of people with different views. I do think we've reached the stage where something really needs to be done and the whole thing needs to be addressed.

But I stand by the point that you have been trying to brush it under the rug for as long as the Jesy threads have been open. Admitting she’s wrong but also urging people to stop talking about it so you can enjoy the music is still brushing it off. And repeatedly trying to spread blame to Leigh Anne when we know that Leigh Anne brought the issue to Jesys attention and she ignored it, is brushing off Jesy’s responsibility in this whole mess.

as someone who has been following them since i was very young this is so upsetting to see but i've been getting really bad vibes from jesy since last year.

not even two years ago she stood(rightfully) for mental health, cyberbullying, made a documentary about her experience and now she behaves like this...? nnnnn all the mess with the shady remarks, constant lies, problematic behaviors are ''nothing'' compared to that live and the way she has been acting.

 

the other 3 had no reasons to act shady or whatever, they mentioned her for sweet melody #1, the brit etc and only shared positive memories. but SHE decided to be the one to act shady, wretched, pull the victim card 24/7 forgetting the other 3 were there for her (and also had their own problems) .... and jesy is expecting people to believe/follow her? lmao

 

she stated that's what she has always want to make, good 4 u jesy now stop mentioning little mix - create your own path (if you're able to) and do not say a word anymore about mental health after what you did.

 

 

ps: whether the screenshots are fake or not, jesy and nicki had no business to involve so many followers to throw hate at Leigh - if jesy really understood something about her own experience and was sensitive about the topic or her ''sisters'', regardless there's bad blood or not, she would have avoided making Leigh a target on the internet. this alone speaks volumes about the person miss nelson really is.

I just can’t believe Leigh respectfully text her and questioned her tan etc after the SM melody video then she proceeds to scale up her blackfishing in almost every possible way in the video, her appearance and lyrics..

 

You can see why Leigh was raging (if those messages are true) Added on top of this if Jesy has blocked the girls numbers etc...

 

How can anyone defend or think Leigh’s in the wrong for those messages, clearly when she said ‘make a video about black fishing instead’ she didn’t literally mean for him to go and start a hate campaign against her...

 

Also, Does anyone remember Leigh and Jesy’s mini argument on The Search they definitely seemed frosty with each other even back then...It’s all starting to make sense.

 

Oh finally someone has noticed! Perrie and Jade told her same thing and she was alright; but as soon as Leigh said same thing, she flared up, and Leigh was the one who calmed the situation.

It always felt like Jesy didn't warm up that much to Leigh in the group. Even watching very closely the LM5 tour, you can see who and who got on more.

Just my opinion, please don't come at me people.

 

I'm happy Jesy has left the group. She was always my least favourite of the band. I like her and I liked what she brought to the table. Loved her lower harmonies. Loved her sass and stage presence. Loved her dancing, etc. But yes, I prefer a Little Mix of Jade, Leigh and Perrie to what they had before.

Can Friday just come soon please so we focus on Adele.

i think saying that Jesy and Leigh weren't close is a bit too much when the two were evidently very close - however things probably soured when Jesy started appropriating more and more and Leigh started to speak up more.

Jesy strikes me as incredibly sensitive when it comes to criticism or feedback, which is an understandable consequence of the horrible trolling she received in the early days. The problem is that means the girls will have had to bite their tongue a lot with her so as to not upset her, meaning that when Leigh did put it out there that she is blackfishing she got overly defensive and it led to arguments. Just my opinion.

 

It's very feasible to me that they didn't argue much in the band, right up until the end when it boiled over. Not speaking for a year with unresolved issues just makes them worse, and here we are today

Yeah that’s bullshit though. Look at the 4 of them when they won the Brit in 2017 - they were all over eachother and crying about how much they were best friends forever. There was never EVER any indications of tension between any of the group so this is definitely just revisionism.

The girls were drunk enough times (at award shows) that something would have slipped out if they didn't get on.

It was really odd Jesy looked fuming and angry (Leigh had said the same as the other 2 girls but randomly piped up to her) so maybe tensions were still rife from any blackfishing remarks from the video?

I think they all got on reasonably well. But some got on more than others, and that's absolutely normal. Most bands have been like that; and even actual siblings sometimes.

I don't think it's particularly unique to get defensive at first when you receive criticism, no matter how legitimate it is. Jesy unfortunately seems to just dig her heels in though and refuse to take in what anyone else is saying, no matter how nicely they put it. I get the feeling she's writing all this off as "haterz bullying" - which I'm sure is true to some extent, but not the extent she thinks it is.
