October 15, 20213 yr 'Hello' was a kind of smack you in the face immediate song, whereas this for me has proven to be a slow grower revealing its qualities over further listens. I will say though, I think I liked 'Hello' more at the time but listening to it now her voice sounds a bit strained, whereas on this it's so effortlessly gorgeous and shifting her way between a range notes seamlessly. Also I think the lyrics are more well written.
October 16, 20213 yr Really liked this. The chorus (to me) could also relate to childhood trauma and how that can have an impact on adult relationships. Easy on Me hit me straight away 💙 That was what I was taking from the song. I recently broke up with my partner and it feels very appropriate for me as a person.

Long May it live ! 🤣💁🏻♂️ It’s a secret no one wants to share-MOR music is good! It’s a cheap attack for people to use but there’s nothing wrong with making appealing music. I’m not an Adele fan for the reasons I outlined earlier but if you look at my music collection, quite a bit would be described as MOR!

October 16, 20213 yr I have no problem with MOR music at all however I feel people only say they like the genre when it matches their agenda. She has a stunning voice but if this was released by many artists it would get dismissed as MOR ‘rubbish’. I do of course appreciate the lyrics and vocals but it is amusing to see so many artists dismissed based on image etc that release similar music.

But it stands a good chance at becoming the 4th song to debut n the top 10 on the radio song chart. Last one to do it was "Born This Way". The other two are "All For You" by Janet Jackson and Madonna's "Erotica".
