October 28, 20213 yr I'd say one girl group I bought the CD too when I was 9 was Little Trees with 'Help I'm A Fish' :kink: fairly forgotten as it didn't spend very long in the UK charts and is probably a good thing it's forgotten by many too but personally I found it quite the cute bop back then lol. The film was good too!

November 3, 20213 yr Chocolate Monday - Your Place Or Mine (2005) (UK # 49) K-ubzNRzUus  How I didn't hear this flop hit before ? Interesting that I've never heard of them before as it sounds like the type of thing I'd be into circa 2005! I can see why this failed though - the production is nice, but the chorus is horribly under-developed. Funny write up at their old website (found via Archive.org): Once upon a time, there were three little girls… But instead of going to the police academy, these little angels dreamed of different things. Gillian was going to help the sick and become a nurse, Elaine dreamed of being a hot-shot marketing executive for one of the world’s top companies, and Stephanie imagined herself in a Hollywood movie.Hollywood may not be beckoning just yet, but Chocolate Monday are definitely on the way to musical stardom in the UK. I wonder if they ever made it to their other goals? I think their song Model Life has a better chorus, but not quite great: SXddii7M2Fs

November 3, 20213 yr Author For everybody, who didn't follow my "all-time top 100 girl groups songs" countdown. Loose Chippin's is the most mysterious UK girl group ever. Two videos were filmed, but they didn't have any chart results in time period, when every single easily reached top 75 in UK. So possibly both singles were cancelled or very small number of copies was issued. Loose Chippin's - Girls Getting Naughty (2000) (this single was # 1 in my weekly chart) svVbWXWpXaQ Loose Chippin's - I'll Be There For You (2000) JExPdGAr7z8 "I'll Be There For You" is a cover version of Rembrandts' main hit, it is best known as the main theme song to the most popular sitcom of 90s generation "Friends". November 3, 20213 yr Author XXL was Macedonian girl pop group from Skopje who represented their country in Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with iconic song "100% Te Ljubam". I like to introduce their follow-up single "Srekna Nova Godina" (Happy New Year). 6s0jJ7aDCRs
November 3, 20213 yr Author They do have a Discogs page: https://www.discogs.com/artist/4749832-Loose-Chippins Somebody created it , because they didn't have the page, when I compiled my top 100 countdown. :) My sister was a big fan of Atomic Kitten and Steps, she bought a lot British music magazines (mostly Smash Hits, TV Hits and Top of the Pops) in 2000-2004 years. I discovered Loose Chippin’s through Buzzin' teen magazine, there was a half-page note with preview of their debut video "Girls Getting Naughty".
November 4, 20213 yr This is one of my favourites, a 2010 Xmas song by Fallen Millie that I dig out every year, I believe it was their only single. It’s on iTunes and Apple Music but not Spotify. nETuom5ePf0 Edited November 4, 20213 yr by gooddelta
