It's still peaking now months after release, it could always bounce back yet again after Christmas.

 

Kanye/André debuting at #52 on Spotify, a little lower than I expected but still not bad for an unannounced and fairly lowkey deluxe album drop. 'Praise God', 'Hurricane' and 'Off The Grid' have re-entered the top 200 as well.

That’s my fear :drama: it’s so close to the Christmas onslaught that it’s going to be swept away soon.

 

It’s really weird loads of songs that were huge on my personal chart that did poorly initially on OCC then peaked months later including this and ‘Heatwaves’. Maybe ‘17 Going Under’ will be one of the longest runners in 2022!?

Just noticed the Imagine Dragons/J.I.D song has risen quite a lot - I've not heard it yet and have very low expectations given ID's other recent output but I'm here for it to chart this week just for J.I.D to finally have a UK 'hit' to his name. (This rising to #97 today is a new peak for him on UK Spotify after 'Down Bad' peaked at #105 and 'Options' w/ Doja Cat peaked at #99, slowly improving :lol:)

That might be the only solution to this annual chaos for the charts. Sure the concept isn't without any fault, I can imagine there been a few arguments down the line about what exactly qualifies as a "Christmas song" but it would be better than the majority of the Top 40 been taken over by decades old Christmas songs every year.

You could run the chart all year round and include any song over a certain age in it if it resurged.

Taylor looking pretty comfortable in front of Adele on Spotify. I think #1 is a bit far out of reach given the lack of interest on some other platforms but hopefully it can take #2 from Ed.
