November 3, 20213 yr What a vile top 2, and 'Galway Girl' being up there too :puke2: Pleased to see 'Sing' in the top 10 though, I know that was his first #1 but it feels somewhat forgotten compared to a lot of the others these days - remains one of his best for me.
November 3, 20213 yr Photograph is one of his very very best for me so I’m very happy to see that high up on this list :heart: Crazy success to think he has that many million sellers though! Like he’s capable of being good but very extreme success. I don’t actually so much mind the top 2 here it’s Thinking Out Loud what got overplayed too much for me and I Don’t Care is by far his worst for me :lol: I think in general though looking at list a lot of my favourites from him either missed #1 or were the less successful than the other huge single. I always preferred Castle to Shape or You and I definitely preferred Beautiful People to I Don’t Care and Shivers over Bad Habits too.

November 3, 20213 yr Damn, I didn't realise he had so many over 1 million! In the space of a decade he's become one of the best selling male solo artists in the UK and globally. Hats off to him! I'm glad to see "Lego House", "Sing" and "The A Team" all top 10! Surprised to see "River" so high. I know it was a #1 but I thought it didn't do all that well. November 3, 20213 yr ^you really have to be a stan (or Ed himself) to think Ed's the best thing in the history of music lol he might not be the worst but he's far from the best I was actually a fan of him in the very beginning and really like him up until Photograph The A Team, Lego House and Photograph are probably my top 3 I can even play Photograph on guitar :D but then he really lost the plot, he might have achieved world domination but at the exoense of becoming a mediocre artist that releases tracks that would fit better in Little Mix hands than in his... and songs like Perfect or I Don't Care or Galway Girl are jokes not songs :D
November 3, 20213 yr Strangely my favourite is his second single ‘I Need You’ which was quite different and upbeat with some rapping even. It leaked high but fell relatively quickly. Also like ‘The A Team’ as well!

November 3, 20213 yr Being critical isn’t ridiculous abuse though. It sometimes feels like it’s frowned upon to criticise Ed more than it is for any other artist. Anyone, to me, that’s a really mediocre bunch of songs and I can barely even recall how half of them even sound despite knowing I’ve heard them multiple times. Sorry for the abuse x
