Made Geri quit thr band

God, she really quit after just six songs!!

It's weird how it didn't feel like that short of a time at the time but looking back it was barely 5 minutes

Once again it’s nothing I’d want to buy

It is no ruler that is for sure.

Video is cute, always good to get unseen stuff especially on Youtube.

The 'Stop' alternative video post has done incredibly well on social media

All that shows you that Stop would've been number one if Gerita had been allowed to do her full alternative dance routine to Stop

But wow at Emma’s TikTok… 838k likes! Her TikTok videos usually only get hundreds of likes, or a little over 1000.

952,000 likes and 12.7m views on Emma's Stop TikTok now. This has to be one of their most viral moments (outside of Victoria and David Instagram posts) surely?

Goes to show that when they ALL do social media promo, it works well... Sadly most of the time it is only Emma and Mel C pushing the group's releases on social media, whereas this time they were all on it...

I couldn't help but notice that I heard 'Stop' playing in THREE different stores I was shopping at yesterday: a grocery store, a clothing store, and then a different grocery store because I forgot something at the first one.

Not an earth-shattering series, I know. But I couldn't help but stop (hehe) and smile. B-)

So... Step To Me lyric video was cute wasn't it? In fact, the video campaign of their singles during the Spiceworld era was the best thing about the whole Spiceworld25 campaign :teresa:

This is an appreciation post of a great run of surprising videos:

Step To Me Lyric Video

And the alternative videos:

Spice Up Your Life

Stop

The original, sans movie scenes of Too Much was also very good to have finally on official streaming and in such great quality!! It was also their most streamed out of all their videos this era, so far :cheer:

And the live performance of Move Over, one of their most iconic and best ever!

We also got given an official video for Never Give Up On The Good Times (which was fine ok? let's not talk too much about it <_< )

Out of these, one at least was a viral hit, Stop, and Spice Up Your Life did get a good reception at least :teresa:

I did think they would have been more streamed by now, to be honest... I guess Too Much has streamed ok, but none of them got much in terms of actual visibility

The fact that Step To me hasnt even gotten to 100k isnt very good  Specially for the song that technically launched the campaign  I guess Stop is more of a random collection of footage from the same scene, whereas Spice Up Your Life has had a bit of work done and it shows.

I kind of wish the videos had other titles to them. I know it is petty, but Stop and Too Much are technically not alternative videos... And perhaps labelling them as more fan-service would have seen them sitting better alongside their main videos...

Nonetheless, it has been nice to have them! Alternative footage has been great to see and have, and some of them have been quite good videos.

The online content for SW25 has been great. You have to remember when it comes to views that they are just extras, not going to replicate the views of the original videos. Though some of their original video views are low I mean Too Much is in the low 20m views after 13 years.

So is Holler and Goodbye <_< those two specially could do with a massive boost

The Stop alternative video is at 490k views and will reach 500k on either Mon or Tue. Pretty amazing doing half a million views in just 4 weeks.

Some of the Istanbul/Wembley videos are between 500-900k and have been on their channel since 2019. So when you put it in perspective it's done very well on the channel.

I wonder what we get for Viva Forever 25? a live video from the uk leg from April/May 1998 might be nice.
